Diana on 3000watt e trike electric tricycle-Puerto Princesa, Palawan

It is now 2020 and this video has become nostalgic for me because there is no way you can drive this easily across town now!
My friend took this silly vid of me driving him to the airport in our electric tricycle here in Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Philippines. The "legitimate passenger" is really our housekeeper. We don't charge fares! This is our private E trike. May 21, 2010
I drive the electric tricycle all over town during the day to lower our carbon footprint. Plus it gives exposure to the technology to the locals who are very interested in keeping their city clean.
The motor is a 3000 KW. I have been able to drive around on it for almost 100 kilometers before recharging it! We have been testing these every day since February 2010. So far so good.
UPDATE: Jan 2015- as of Feb 2013 you cannot drive this stretch of road going this speed. The road is now so congested you have to go along at a crawl. Too many gas trikes and motorcycles now.

@shaider77 it would take too many solar panels to charge the 4 large batteries. Unfortunately the surface is lacking to be able to charge this vehicle with the sun, One day when they perfect the nano solar chargers perhaps,
