Funny is recently couple raids I join on my sorc into a raid, I get asked "was it hard finding a party?" Like, you're the first party I applied and I get accept immediately every time. Now I understand XD
I feel like it's the opposite for me SF-wise. Robust has a much much higher damage floor and is pretty idiot-proof, whereas EO can either do the most damage in the game or the worst damage in the game depending on the person playing it.
I gatekeep based on outfit and booba size, who cares what the class is they are all Homogenized to do exactly the same thing either way, either burst or sustain. There has still been no content in LA since launch that requires you to min/max a party This isn't WoW/FFXIV, you don't build your raid around what each class can bring to the table, you don't pick ranged to kite and mages to summon or deal with trash. You take 6 DPS, if possible find ones with decent synergy and everyone goes in and slaps the boss until it dies, rinse repeat. Muscle memory and pattern recognition is all that matters in LA, not class balance.
While I would agree, I have had failed runs because the stagger was weak so I value utility more than damage. I probably would gatekeep off of looks too if I had to pick between players. No copy-pasta characters allowed!
The stagger wasn't weak, the players just didn't know which skills to use or didn't hold skills leading up to the stagger check (or greeded holding skills) and/or didn't use consumables and that failed the stagger. You can have a low stagger raid that can complete any stagger check assuming the players actually know what buttons to push to actually cause stagger damage (it's amazing how many launch day players only started learning what skills have stagger/weak point at Tower, when it actually kinda matters) @ryan9876

if u notice peacemaker gunslinger has the upper or lower slots of the skill bar lock in the hud because you use only 4 skill in those stance other than pistol. what about merging both shotgun with sniper bar and also so merge both engraving passive effect? the uneven crit rate in shotgun stance has always been a problem when it come to min max a build to the very best. kinda a joke that a full crit investment class still don't see the crit 100% of time because of this bs among other bs.
*Cries in Master Summoner as my first class I made* Raised her all the way to Kaya, which is HORRIBLE. I benched her and just run Clowns, Brel 1-4 and Kaya weekly on her. Is okie though I mainswapped to DI SH ☺️ Although I do still kinda get gatekept as one.
Guuners are a hard class to play so you know the player is commited and has to be at least decent if they have a high level EW/gunslinger. Pistoleer a little easier to execute but still amazing teammates. Also, love linne's theme. : )
the best part theres even no bad builds if we r not talking about brand new content, for homework stuffs u can run whatever the hell u want unless thats some cringe thing with domination on bard. People are listening to this "streamers" and taking all of that way too serious and then ure facing issues as it is atm in game. Im playing goddam swift igniter on 1540 content coz who cares and outdpsing 99% of people ,being gatekept because "omg what is this crap build".
