Thank you! ✔
9/10 😊
i nailed all ten AND Oddjob.. but that was a very easy quiz considering I've been playing along (at home) against TV's Jeopardy contestants and have been doing that for decades so I might have a bit of an unfair edge lol.
10 out of 10
9/10 I missed the bell/edison question. ODDJOB
Great quiz. I got 9 correct + the bonus. I’m 74 years old and have had a lot of years to accumulate knowledge (even generally useless knowledge, lol). The question about the blind rodent got me.
Oh, I got the same number as you, including the bonus, but my miss was on Robert Louis Stevenson. Picked England but had no idea if it was England or Scotland.
Yeah, I don't know anything about heavy metal either
@@rodneymacdonald4964 Why do you say that, when they both got the bonus right? Apparently they DO know abut heavy metal. That one was all that I got wrong. lol
The answer to the bonus question is: The actor was Harold Sakata the character he played was Oddjob.
8 out of 10. Some good questions there. I love all the James Bond movies, so I knew the answer to the bonus question was Oddjob. Goldfinger, of course, was his boss.
8 out 10.
60% I'm not ashamed to admit it. I have other attributes such as; compassion, dedication, empathy, honesty, humor and loyalty.
I noticed that humility isn't listed as an attribute. Good call.
"I'm not very bright but I make up for it with shameless self- promotion"
Jk around, but you def set yourself up for some backlash
1 answer right, everyone knows Megadeath makes a mean hollandaise that is less than Ben Franklin's phonograph which he invented when he was 171 years old.
Lol
In Turkey, while watching a birdie
lolol
Bro it’s ok, just take a bogey and do it again
ha-ha-ha-ha😂 , cute comment!
Got 'em all plus the bonus. Didn't know I knew all that stuff. Thanks!
10/10 and Oddjob
Lemmings is a word that everyone should be bringing back for their use.
Scored 8 out of 10, and kicking myself that I couldn't remember Oddjob!! Great quiz, thank you, I'm subscribing. 👍
Thanks for the sub!
SAME HERE! 8 out of 10, and I couldn't remember oddjobs name either! But I had so much fun I also immediately subscribed!!
8 and remembered odd job..
My first thought was Random Task, but he's from Austin Powers. 😂
I usually do pretty well in this kind of quizzes. Today I blew it. 30%
9/10 and I got the bonus. I honestly thought Robert Louis Stevenson was born in England. I learned something new.
Same here.
If you want something invented, written or discovered call a scot and if he's busy, an irishman. The english are way over rated
Same
SAME! And I’ve always pronounced his middle name with the S, like St. Louis
Same
Got 7 and happy with it, although I was close to getting 9. Only one I had no idea about was the Georgie question, which I have never even heard of before.
I GOT 1 OUT OF 10... I'M IRISH AND GOT "MULLIGAN"☘️
But Metallica is also known as "Alcoholica". They put that one on a tee for you, didn't they?
If you really only got 1 out of 10, I can't help but wonder who read the questions to you.
I got 6/10. Only because i guessed 3 right. So, technically...only 3/10 for me. I also failed tests the other day. I guess i am just stupid =). Oh well
Yeah bro I only got 6 and 2 of them were dumb luck so I’m a da. I knew the bonus but couldn’t remember his name. Life’s rough lol
thanks for the answer💀 it was very helpful🤌
Uninteresting fact: Lemmings do not actually follow each other off cliffs. Disney films forced them off the cliff for their nature film about them.
but Jaque Cousteu was at the bottom catching 'em
Disney murdered all those poor little lemmings!
True.
Funny how that was used as a question when those "facts" are illegitimate. Everyone has heard this though it not be true. Very few, if anyone missed that one.
Idioms don’t have to be based on facts, since they are words or phrases that mean something other than the literal definition. Once “lemming” stopped being a metaphor and acquired its own definition relating to people, it effectively entered the lexicon as an idiom, and therefore the literal truth of lemmings became irrelevant.
10/10 plus Odd Job for the bonus. Really enjoy your quizzes.
Same here.
Same
11/11. Redeemed my honor for the score I got on the first one I tried. Confession: I'm not sure I would have got the Metallica if it wasn't multiple choice. That was one of those "I'll know it if I see it."
nice one - 7/10 myself. happy with that.
8 of 10. The bonus is "Odd-Job". A fun one, as most of them are. Thank you for posting.
Got 9/10. Unfortunately, as a French Canadian dude, I never even heard of that children's tale, so I guessed wrong. Most other questions however I managed to answer even before the multiple choices popped up, so I am patting myself on the back. :)
Nine plus bonus. Thanks for making them easy. This is fun.
Got eight!! Great quiz! Thank you.
Thank You Mr. Q you are the best!!!
💯 + the bonus! The bonus question made me laugh because the Oddjob-like character in "Austin Powers" was named Randomtask. 🤣
My first thought was Random Task.
Great Minds think alike. I also got 10/10 and when I saw Odd Job I also instantly thought of Random Task! Ha Ha
Being Scottish helped with Robert Louis stevenson and the bonus question 11 out of 11.no problems!
And a fine old Scots name you have, sir.
I got 11/11 as well, proving you can't beat a Scottish education!
Oddjob, the inspiration for the famous Austin Powers Villain, Random Task.
10/10. Plus the bonus.
10/10. Odd Job. Employed by Auric Goldfinger...tipping the hat after a disgruntling golf match with 007. Odd Job decapitated a statue, but Mr. Goldfinger owned the club.
One could argue that James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich founded Megadeth by kicking Dave Mustaine out of Metallica.
The first time I saw them, June ‘92, they and Guns & Roses opened for AC/DC, and we didn’t know who they were at the time. Ulrich was running around in the parking lot handing out pieces of paper with his autograph on them. He shoved one in my friend, Greg’s hand, Greg thought it said F-U, and punched Lars in the eye...he did the show in Mobile with a shiner that night!
@@tubularguynine Sorry, but I don't think you're recalling your story accurately. Metallica was already huge by '92. That's the year Metallica and G-n-R did their huge stadium tour together. You maybe thinking of the Monsters of Rock/Donnington '91 show that AC/DC headlined and Metallica was an act.
@@steves4533 - You’re right, I DO remember that we went to see AC/DC, and didn’t know who Metallica was, thus the wild man in the parking lot! 😆
I agree with grumpchong. Both Metallica and Megadeth are correct.
‘Thought the same thing 😏
I got 7 outta 10 for the quiz, but I also got the bonus question so 8 out of 11 technically. First time Ive seen this channel, the content was surprisingly good and tested some interesting knowledge which I really enjoyed! Keep up the great work!
Thanks for the kind words.👍 I have over 100 more so stick around! 😊
9/10 don't know about the bonus question but thank you for your amazing quiz. Take care
I normally consider literature my strongest topic, but ironically, the only question I missed was the one about Robert Louis Stevenson. (I got a sports question right but not that one! Checking out the window for flying pigs...)
7/10 and I new the name of Oddjob. Remembered he chopped off the statue's head with his hat. Great movie!
I'm 62 in August and have NEVER seen a Sean Connery " Bond " movie. Then again I've 1) never had a cell phone 2) Seen the Sound of Music, Scarface or Titanic. I don't live under a rock, I just vacation there
@@scottmorris5730 What do you watch then? Just interested...
@@scottmorris5730 Ha! Sort of a kindred spirit. I finally bought a cell phone - a Xiaomi. A month ago I got my first plan (a $5 Red Pocket deal from eBay). Have never seen Titanic, Scarface, Avengers, Avatar, Frozen II, Jurassic World, Star Wars VII or many other movies. But I've seen the original Sound of Music countless times. I've also seen Moana and Cocomelon over and over and over thanks to a delightful 3-year-old granddaughter.
10/10 bonus: Odd Job
Top Job
9 out of ten and didn’t know the bonus but might have gotten it if there were multiple choice answers provided. Great quiz!
the bonus question's name was Oddjob.
Odd Job used to pro wrestle in the 60's & 70's as "The Great Togo!". (
Had a friend in the biz,) sat in his car outside a stadium and drank beer with him! ( I was 16 or 17!!! circa 1963-64)
That is a cool story!
Aha! No wonder I called him Togo. Must have read that somewhere. Was bummed I got it wrong but I was also kinda right. Nah, I was wrong. Brilliant!
Nailed ALL the correct answers (but if truth be told, got lucky on that "guess" about Metallica).
Managed 8 plus the bonus. I know zip about golf and even less about heavy metal. Luckily Dr No is the only Bond film I’ve seen (at age 12) but still remembered the name. Strange what sticks in the mind.
58 years old. I answered 9/10 correctly. Didn't get the bonus question but didn't try either. I never liked James Bond movies until Pierce Brosnan was made 007.
Man y'all sad that you're missing one or two questions and I'm sitting here with a 5.
you're lucky you even got 5, bro i got 2 😭
@@bellum1522 I feel you :(
You, too? :/
I got nine, but it's all trivial. Not like any of this has any value in knowing.
I'm at 5 too lol
I like trivia. I paused before the choices were shown and still aced this. My weekly trivia night at my favorite "breastaurant" is no more because they closed during the covid shut down. At least this quiz had a Bond question. "Do you expect me to talk?" "No, Mr. Bond. I expect you to die." Classic.
I got 10 including the bonus question but I guessed at two answers and got lucky on those.
The only time I ever met an actor in person was Harold Sataka! It was after the premiere of 'The Poppy is also a Flower'.
8/10 plus bonus. Great mixture of questions
8/10 with the bonus! I missed the robotics one and the recipes one! I almost missed the golf one lol
Seven out of ten, I wanted to say Edison, but weakened and answered Bell. By the way did you know Edison didn’t invent the electric light bulb?
Edison invented the first commercially viable electric light bulb.
I would have said he developed a commercially viable light bulb.
@@robertgardner758 No he didn't , he just patented it. He was a thief. Warren de la Rue had already invented it.
@@philipocallaghan Penrose didn't invent the Triangle named for him either. Oscar Reutersvärd invented it but hadn't patented it
@@robertgardner758 No he didn't either. Swan would hold that title. Edison and Swan both patented their bulbs in 1879, and formed a joint company afterwards.
Edison was even a great inventor, his greatest invention was Menlo Park, his laboratory, where he had a team of bright minds to work with coming up with ideas. He was an expert patenter though.
Well, I missed 2, but got the Bonus. This was fun!
Me too, though two of my correct answers were guesses.
Perfect score!!! Nice mix of questions...
Thanks!
9/10 + the bonus question, though mainly remembered him from Goldeneye, OddJob was too cheap lol
The only reason why I knew that Thomas Edison question is because I did a report on him in elementary school.
I like how your quizzes are pretty challenging. :)
Only question I missed, and I was 50/50 Bell vs Edison
yeah! lmao i also knew a ton of them because of school alone. specifically because of latin club, which only makes sense if you were in it.
(JCL/NJCL; we had stuff like fandom certamen which covered everything from harry potter to percy jackson to DND)
7-10 How could I forget Odd Job?! He was my fave!
I saw that movie when it was on the big screen.
8 out of 10 plus the bonus. I missed the rock and roll question and the Robert Louis Stevenson question.
Great quiz
Way, way easier than yesterday's GK quiz; got 9/10 and Odd-Job; loads of fun. Thanks!
Same for me, pesto got me
Nine correct, miss the question about the heavy metal band because I know nothing of that genre. Now had you asked me in what year Mozart composed “Le Nozze di Figaro” I’d have had a perfect score. Odd Job.
Goats is smart!
So did I.
Same. Was on track for a perfect score, then heavy metal joined the mix....
exactly the same... music is something I have zero interest in.
@@DavidWoelkechannel - Kind of hard to believe with a channel full of Hoffman and Wecker German spirituals.
9 out 10 plus the bonus. Odd Job was a great character in the 007 video game.
Got them all but #3! These are fun man!
I literally had to sing Gorgy Porgy… LOL! 😂😂😂😩
And I discounted the Kiss the girl answer, because I couldn't remember the song! Must have been a really bad kisser.
It was not really Georgy Porgy it was me and it all started with jump rope. LOL
Random Task was my answer for the bonus question. I Guess I've seen one too many Austin Powers movies , Lol. Got 9/10 on the quiz.
The heavy metal band was a complete guess, but I got it right. Plus, although I knew Stevenson was from the British Isles, someone who had posted here gave me the answer, so 10/10!
10/10 Could not remember the 007 villain. I know he went to jail. lol
The only question I missed was what Georgie did as I'd never heard that nursery rhyme.
Oh you need to go look up the song by the band Toto called “Georgy Porgy!
You're very young? For me, that was the easiest question.
@@hemlo7494 not in the slightest. Just wasn't exposed to many nursery rhymes.
Same
Here it is… “Georgie Porgie, pudding and pie, kissed the girls, and made them cry.’
9/10 + the bonus question. I wasn't sure who invented the phonograph. This was fun!
Same exact score
That's exactly the same for me, too.
Lol, 10 for 10 but totally blanked on Oddjob! Crap! Good quiz and lot’s of fun. Thanks!!
9.10 + bonus. Unusually high for me. Thanks for your work from Michigan USA!
9/10 + Bonus. Couldn't remember where RLS was born.
Me too.
Same here exactly
Exactly same
Same here
Same here, initially thought England but then changed my mind to Scotland. So I gave myself a half point.
7 out of 10 I'm happy with that 😄 and I guessed the bonus question correctly 😀
Me too
Same here.
9 + the bonus; nice mix of questions!
some people call ne
Not fan of heavy metal but knew the rest , good fun thanx.
I get 11 of 11, and yet I meet someone I know and I'm like what was your name? So weird.
Same here lol
The best Quiz is the leisure-suit-larry computer game age verification.
100%, including the bonus. Too easy!
10/10 and the bonus. I knew a couple of the answers before the options appeared, so happy me.
9+Odd Job. Missed RL Stevenson (knew it was either England or possibly Scotland) and guessed the wrong one! Merde!
Same here
8/10
6/10 and Odd Job cutting of a statues head 7/11.
same one missed lol
Same here…same one missed
Dang! Missed 4
Me too. I’m usually better at these.
My first quiz with your channel. Very enjoyable and interesting. I scored 9 plus the bonus. I know very little about metal music unless it's Nightwish.
I’m bummed Marco left, but I hope he gets his mind cleared up and finds happiness again!
@@titaniumman_22 Yeah, I hope he does, too. It's really rough without his vocals. I love Troy; his voice just can't stand next to Floor's. I'm not yet sold on the new bass player.
Nightwish is a good place to start.
10 of 10 plus bonus. Easiest one so far.
Either I am a genius or I have lived through too many decades - I got them all correct.....not sure if I feel happy 😁 or depressed. 😕
Don’t worry, I knew them all after only thirty trips around the sun.
You couldn't have because the correct answer to the golf question is "cheating".
I think it was a test to see if you’re a boomer.
Your Whole life prepared you for this one task and you pass. Now go in peace
missed 2 regular, and knew the bonus
Me too.
@@cameronwhyte7223, me 3.
9/10 +bonus. Watched that movie last night lol.
11, thanks I needed that!
I got all 11, obviously a sign of my misspent life.
That sucks getting all 11
Makes two of us!
I got them all right before the answers were revealed... is that good or bad? lol
@@bigalthecrusher people use to tell me I had more useless information stored in my skull than Alex Trebek. I don't think they ment it as a compliment. However, I cede my crown to you sir.
Me too - though I confess #10 was a blind guess - heard of Metallica, but not those guys. On the rest, I "knew" before the options appeared - sign of being OLD... !
I got all correct but the bonus question, for some reason "jaws" came to mind. The one question I didnt know the answer (Robert Louis Stevensons place of birth) was a lucky guess though😂
Ive never seen a Bond film so I guessed Jaws also
I scored 9 of 10, and I got the bonus. The Georgie porgie question got me. Never heard of it/him before.
George Porgie is a nursery rhyme. I heart it growing up. Georgie Porgie Puddin' and pie, kissed the girls and made them cry. When the boys came out to play, Georgie Porgie ran away. I don't know the history behind this nursery rhyme, but it's one I've heard a lot.
9/10 plus the Oddjob Bonus question. I had no clue where the author of Adventure Island was born(Guessed England).
6/10 plus the bonus question.
Well you're not in the Meh category like me
9 out of 10. Don't know much about golf. Got the bonus.
But "Take a Mulligan" has passed in to regular English as " A free pass to do something over again"!
@@jamesalexander5623 - thank you.
💯 plus the bonus question
I finally got them all! Even the bonus. 🎉
I could only remember the Andrew dice clay version of the Georgie Porgie rhyme.
Hahaha.......me to!!
Little Boy Blew...
@@NickGreyden .........he needed the money
I could only remember the Sesame Street version by the cookie monster. It ended, " Georgie Porgie ran away...Georgie Porgie big sissy. Can't say that today. Don't want to offend the Karens and Snowflakes of the world.
I only remember the Jack and Jill versions ...
10/10. I was thinking this was supposed to be hard? But I’m old so…😂
Questions in general are only hard if you don't know the answers.😀
...but there were 11 questions :-p
only 10/11 for me... shame on me for not knowing details about authors
Wow 10 out of 10! Bam 💥 but I lucky guessed on the laws of robotics and have no idea who the bodyguard in the Bond movie was. 😝
I got 10 for 10 in the regular questions. But, I failed to get Oddjob. I knew it once I read it, but not before. I'm a 62 years old stroke survivor, so not too shabby.
this one an easy one for me, got 9, missed stevenson's birth country. don't remember the bond characters name, and after seeing it i wouldn't have guessed it anyway.
Me 2
I had the exact same results.
I answered 10 for 10 plus the bonus question.
This was easy because I’m old.
I feel ya
9/10 and the bonus! I couldn’t remember who invented and patented the first phonograph.
11 out of 11 - esoteric, enjoyable but not hard questions
8/10 I know nothing about pesto or heavy metal. The bonus was easy.
Gee! I got the same 2 wrong.
7/10 and no bonus :( didn’t go with my gut about RLS :(
10/10 for me - but I guessed on the country of origin for Robert Lewis Stevenson after a bit of deductive reasoning. Guessed it right, though.
I did not know the bonus question - while I've enjoyed James Bond movies, I'm not a huge fan and knowing that bit of esoteric bit was not in my wheelhouse.
Moments ago I was huddled in the corner of my room blowing spit bubbles and not knowing what day it was... but I scored 10 out 0f 10 and now I'm a Freeking genius.
10 out of 10, and a bonus for Oddjob! Nice quiz!
9/10. Didn't know the answer to the bonus question.
Same
Dido! But now I know. And I'll admit that I guessed half of the right answers due to the multiple choices. If it was fill in the blank questions, then I probably would have scored a 3 out of the 11.
Easiest one yet. 10/10 plus bonus (had to guess pesto because I knew the other 3 didn't have those ingredients and I don't east pesto). 👍
