- Wallgau is a tiny village in South Bavaria near the Austrian Border. It's located near Garmisch Partenkirchen and Mittenwald. The village is super traditional in looks, with yesteryears architecture and the buildings have impressive wall paintings. It's like heaven on the Earth.
It's a completely overlooked village. We visited a few months again but they were doing some works in the village. Will try visiting in the warmer months again and I hope they will be done with road construction works.
European alps are something else. I also really like Grainau
