Having stayed in multiple different villages on my previous travels, I was inspired to do the same in Belarus. I reached out to several Belarusians and got the wonderful opportunity to visit Krupitsa village after meeting Ira through Couchsurfing. Ira was so excited to invite me to come and stay with her parents and her son. I was excited to see life in the countryside and got lucky to be present during Ira’s father's birthday.

ABOUT ME:
In 2013, I started my solo travel journey, leaving Indonesia in 2016 to become a full-time traveler and UA-cam creator. My background in International Relations has fueled a profound interest in exploring different countries. My content focuses on exploring different cultures through the lens of a solo female traveler, aiming to capture real-life interactions and experiences.
My travels kicked off with a five-month trip across Asia, after which I moved to China in January 2017 to work as an English teacher-my first time living abroad. I left China in 2018 to fully commit to creating videos on UA-cam, where I share my travels and the cultures I encounter.
Living nomadically since 2016, I settled in England in early 2022 after marrying my British husband, David. Now based in the UK, I continue to travel and share my adventures on UA-cam.

It brings memories of my childhood vacations to grandparents in the village in Poland. Everything is organic, local and you feel that you live according to nature and you simply don't need luxury. Now I can buy cheap japanese or mexican food but I miss that organic food from you own field.

@@rezpav1398 Да никто не в курсе. Живем отлично, не жалуемся. Я вот купил домик в небольшой деревне, перестраиваю. Соседи мои тоже. Деревня жилая,человек 200 точно живет,а летом наезжает еще столько же. Алкашей и наркоманов нет , возле озера чисто, асфальт к деревне проложил режим проклятый. Что не так то ???

@@user-oi1tu7fn6c Живу в Горно-Алтайске / Республика Алтай, средняя з/п в городе 20-30 тыс.руб. у меня друзья на 2-3 работах работают и доход около 100 тыс.руб. и всё замечательно хотя тоже все говорят что за пределами Москвы люди выживают. Живём в частных домах, коммуналка в среднем (вода+газ+эл.энергия на дом 100-120 м2 примерно 4-5 тыс.руб. в морозные месяца) на продукты уходит 10-15 тыс.руб. на семью из трёх-четырёх человек. Наркоманов слава богу почти нет, а алкаши есть, ходят со смартфонами пьяные посты строчат успевают какая жизнь плохая и что государство им должно всегда и везде.

I've been all over Belarus, including in some forbidden areas near UA border so glad to see that someone shows Belarus outside of just Minsk, however getting a translator is not exactly "solo travel". Did appreciate the great video quality and especially bringing back warm memory's of great Belarus food like Chebureki; too bad no Draniki was eaten :)
