Ain’t gonna lie the orange bowl could of been better but at the end of the day a bowl win is a bowl win and Mullen leading us to 2 straight New Years 6 bowl wins is still very good. I like the direction Mullen leading us in

You can’t help but laugh on that Derek stingley pick in the end zone as Cleveland has his pants getting ripped off by an LSU corner who got burned for a corner route to the end zone for an easy score to tie the game at 35 💀

This was a very good team. Honestly they allowed 4 home run rushes combined from LSU and Georgia 1 in the air and that late interception at LSU too so 5 big chunk plays given up and a vital pick thrown in two close road games against two good teams yeah Florida was a very good team. Solid season. It was a common thing though against FSU, Tennessee, and South Carolina they gave up big rushes all year.

my thoughts after re watching this year's games.
Miami was unsurprising because we always suck week 1
Kentucky was forgive-ably close because of franks injury
Auburn could've been a much bigger win if hold onto the ball and jump on their fumbles
LSU was a veryyyyy winnable game if mullen doesn't put in emory on the second to last drive and we got another stop
Georgia was just ugly. We easily beat them if a different version of our team showed up
Missouri was the most boring game of the year
Virginia was weird like Georgia. Really wasn't close we just didn't run away with it
Overall takeaways:
Better road defense and Trask giving up less turnovers and we would've been in Atlanta and possibly 12-0

That Cager "catch" was easily the worst call I say last year. In what way was that a catch. Even watched the game with Georgia fans and everyone of them thought that call was insane. SEC refs need to be held accountable. That kind of call can completely change a game.

I agree. The Georgia game was the most disappointing showing of the season. At least in the LSU loss the Gators had the lead for a bit and were right there with LSU till the 4th. Against Georgia the Gators just looked flat and out played.

This Gators team was probably the best Gators team since Tebow, imo. Had the right balance of offense and defense. It's just a shame there was a generational team like LSU this year or Florida could have made the playoffs. An 11-1 UF team that didn't have to play in the SEC Championship probably /does/ make the playoffs.

The hardest thing about this year was the lost to GA we was better!! 3 times we got screwed on calls! It was the most heated ive been in awhile watching football!! Let Georgia tell it they kick our ass!! I was actually impressed with us playing Lsu we played them well til the 3rd and they won the natty so just think how good we will be this year!! Cfb last year was weird!! Calls was bad in the sec and that Ohio state and Clemson game they fucked over Ohio state!! Clemson is the team they was pushing for in cfb! Xavier Jones there were times where he would force throws that aren’t there and it get intercepted. He also has a tendency to hold onto the ball too long and take bad sacks. Not saying he’s a bad player just needs to work on it

Well D’eriq King (who’s now the Miami QB, transferred from Houston) was the Varsity QB ahead of him in high school, and Trask started at JV... but Trask won at the end of day because we’re definitely better than “The U”, but McElwain is the one that recruited him so be thankful for that though... lol

Dan Mullen could have been a great coach at Florida and I wish we would have kept him but to be honest he got himself fired. It was obvious he gave up at Florida. Poor recruiting, unwillingness to hire new staff, unable to have a full staff, absolutely no discipline in the players or staff, never developed a solid running game, and most of all a lack of accountability with all of those issues.
