I love that Bobbie Eakes is singing at the end of the fashion show.

These types of episodes are missed but I understand its a lot of work and money for just one episode.

Now Brooke with her fair coloring, blond hair looks extra beautiful in the soft aqua color pantsuit! Stunning!

This is my favorite FC showing. The fashion, music, BeLieF, characters taking back seats to the fashion show made it very memorable, in 1992, arguably the benchmark B&B year.

DonaldTaft, In Steph's defense---she is quite a few years older than Margo. They are both stunning women. I agree, Margo looks fabulous in that sunflower gold ensemble. Not everyone can wear that color---she wears it well. 💛

Same! I keep up with spoilers for current B&B but I rarely watch it anymore. Shelia is worse than Jason Voorhees... she will not die! I still watch Y&R even though they keep bringing everyone back from the dead either...
Also, I genuinely cannot stand Steffy and Thomas. Always messing with everyone's lives...

I do love the fashion shows put on by Forrester Creations in these early episodes. I do wish I had watched this show from the beginning! The clothes are simply stunning on the models, and the models are very beautiful! I also think the clothes that Margo, Macy, Taylor, and Brooke wear are gorgeous! Way more tasteful and classy than Brad Bell dresses the current ladies on the show in 2022! Only the Young and the Restless continue to dress their ladies in beautiful, quality clothing currently in 2022, actually from way back in the 1980s Y&R dressed the ladies in their show in gorgeous, quality fashion. What Brad Bell dresses the ladies of 2022 in looks like clothing from Target and Walmart, not from Saks or Neiman Marcus, IMHO.
Yes! The ladies (and fellas) on Y&R always dress incredibly. Phyllis wore a gorgeous lime green, sparkly spaghetti strap dress a few months ago and it was STUNNING!

Try to watch the show from the beginning (1987). The clothes were gorgeous, lots of shoulder pads and big hair. Margo was my favorite. I loved all her outfits. The first fashion show was stunnig.

Unless she's faking it. Kinda weird how after years of being obsessed with the Forresters and their wealthy lifestyle, to the point of saving newspaper clippings about them Brooke is too shy to get recognition for her work.
But we all know that shyness doesn't last long, with Brooke's bedroom line a few years away.

@@soft-with-edge Yeah, that is the reason why it would have been expensive. The show would have to pay royalties to use copyrighted music. Much cheaper to do what they do today and have someone in the production team simply write the songs.
I miss the fashion shows. Last one I remember was 2018 with the spectra/Forrester thing
@@soft-with-edge Of course it should. But I think it's a lot cheaper than getting the rights to well-known songs recorded on major labels.

Eric should have gotten the rights to the Belief formula. He announced to the whole entire world that Brooke developed the formula for them working in the lab at Forrester Creations. I think that's more legally binding than a written contract.
