Been watching your videos on the Boss VE-8 because I bought one this week on ebay. Learning alot from your tutorials on it. Many things I did not know about that thing until you showed me. As a musician (amateur) and a gear nerd myself, who is always running into "this or that" problem, its good to know someone out there has my back. Subbed. :)
Hi Deb! Thanks for doing that cover of John Prine’s song “Hello In There”. You did a great job of it! I have a question about monitoring . I have a Soundcraft Notepad 12. I would like to use my hearing aids as in-ear monitor. Those pair with my iPhone. I have a camera dongle and a powered usb hub. There are 2 monitor outputs on the mixer. I would like to be able to separately hear instrument and voice channels. We have a duo. Both of us have hearing aids! LOL. So, maybe use Garage Band or is there another AP? I just want to get a stage monitor system going for now. Recording may come later. Hope this is not too much rambling. Thanks.
My band mate and I had similar problems. If money is no object we each bought our own portable PA system. We used the Bose L1 compact. Another setup would be to run two speakers out of your main output point one to you and the other to your bandmate. On the mixer hard pan your guitar and vocals hard right and his hard left. If your mixer has a few outputs you can use small speaker from each to you. Another option would to get in ear monitors with a wireless or Bluetooth setup.
Hi Deb. I've been watching your Boss VE8 videos in UA-cam for the past months. They are all great. I have VE2 and VE8 in my pedalboard just for acoustic guitar. Two harmony pedals for two singers at the same time using an ABY pedal. The problem is, if I have to switch the harmony on/off, I have to do it one after the other. But if I want it at the same time, I have to use both of my feet 😅. It's something unusual, right? On the ABY Pedal, Channel A controls the VE 8. Channel B controls the VE2 hooked to the fender distortion. The footswitch controls only the memory of VE8 for looper, preset, etc. I want to know if it is possible to control the harmony of the two pedals at the same time using a foot switch with a TRS Y- Cable attach in it? Thanks.
You should try it and let me know. If you had the polarity set right on each pedal and split the stereo TRS to 2 TR cables one in each pedal. My guess is you will only have one function per pedal. TRY IT.
Help! I have a question,i can't seem to get an answer not even from BOSE,this is all new to me and i'm trying to do some home studio recording on my Mac ,Can I use The BOSE TS4 Tonematch as an INTERFACE "DAW" To record with studio software,I'm sorry if it sounds a little confusing, again I'm new to this, thank you.
You can use it though it isn’t the best. I did a video in USB setup for the Bose T1 Tonematch USB Recording and Setup ua-cam.com/video/aNgruXdVSSM/v-deo.html If your thinking of buying it thinking to use it as DAW I wouldn’t. If you already own one give it a try.
Hi Deb, love your videos. I would like to construct play along videos using this format ua-cam.com/video/BrAdKui2Zew/v-deo.html Do you know it and if so point me in the right direction to the software used. Many thanks, Corrine
Thanks Deb for all your informative videos, I drop in on your site when I need something. Stay safe and take care now
You stay safe as well Brian.

I don’t know of any software that does this automatically. I use Final Cut Pro X.
How can I contact you?
You just did.
