Hi Ian, Can you kindly help me please. I would like to out down a water tank concrete base and would like to find out how deep should my concrete base be. The water tank measures 121.5" tall x 73.5" wide and holds 2000 gallons of water. Thanks in advance.

The depth of a water tank base entirely depends upon the nature of the soil.
For HARD SOILS, if you are just considering a simple Concrete base, you will go up to around 12 inches below the ground. Then ofcourse add also another distance above the ground depending on whether you want to raise it or keep it abit low, say around 12 inches ( to protect the tank from storm water)
If the soil is simple LOOSE
Consider going deep up to more than 19.7 inches. Also add the top distance above the ground around 12 inches to protect the tank from the effect of running storm water.
Be sure to also add extra 2 to 4 inches allowance for the base around the the perimeter of the tank where the tank will sit.

What is the best using polyurethane or road lime
Mixing road lime with marrum is always a MUST when laying pavers but when your pavers compound is already having grass, that's when we remove the pavers on top, compact properly, Then lay a polyethylene or any other DPM that covers the whole area then spread lake Sand then Lay the pavers on top
