Damn. I'm 47 and didn't know that. I just remember that song by Eminem from a CD hidden track called 'Girls'. Then Limp Biscuit just disappeared!!! I worked for Kid Rock way back when and I remember a talk he gave saying to his band an all of us, if we going to make it, we cant treat people like they do, Limp was opening for Kid at the time.

People love or hate Kid Rock but I still remember him saying if we want to last we got to love an respect everyone!!! I don't work for him anymore, not enough pay being a road warrior but I remember back then it was great money an he was always cool. I still got a photo of myslef him and Eminem passing a bottle of Jack on a couch. Crazy, I could probably sell it for a fortune online but I keep it! I'm 47 an dont need the money, them was great times.

Everlast (Eric) was my neighbor and our daughters attended school together. We use to talk all the time but I didn't know he was from the House of Pain for at least a year. He is a very down to earth dude who never chased clout, he was simply a chill dude who was into his family.

I saw house of pain open for Cypress hill at the State theater in Detroit around 93 and it was off the chain and exposed me to how hype rap/hip hop shows are and launched me into my love for going to shows. Even when him and Shady had their drama I still loved everlast

Of all the interviews I've seen, this was the most entertaining and eye opening. The one with Talib Kweli is very good as well but he seems relaxed and in his element hanging out with Sway and vice versa. You can tell how much fun Sway is having reliving memories with him. Their true admiration for one another.

Everlast is the dopest white rapper, to me. Like he was saying about not liking his early lyrics, his later lyrics are as political and spiritual as a white guy has been. He does the old-school hip-hop rappers proud and doesn't promote degeneracy & violence like others but he's still hardcore and had mega success without being a wigger or wack.
