I just love how you think about all your kids while shopping. Picking up their favorite snacks and such. You even are always thinking about Nana which is so kind. It shows how thoughtful and caring you are. I know when someone buys one of my favorite snacks I always feel so loved bc they were thinking of me. Love to you all.
Agreed
Secret: use clarifying shampoo for greasy hair, then add your own apple cider vinegar to the kid's hair twice a week. Put in aloe Vera gel with the shampoo, because clarifying shampoo is drying.
I second this. My hair started getting greasy or even greasier after I washed it. My hairdresser recommended using a clarifying shampoo once/twice a week in place of my normal shampoo and it’s so clean now. I use Head and Shoulders. I think Vosene is another.
@@Elena-hf7id Is greasy hair a genetic thing? (I'm not judging, btw!) Just curious to what causes it to naturally happen.
@@pigtailsandteddybears No offence taken 😊. I’ve never had especially greasy hair, it just started happening. My hairdresser told me it was likely a build up of product in my hair from the other shampoo and conditioner(non-clarifying) I was using.
@@Elena-hf7id Oh! That makes total sense. Thank you for explaining that for me. 💕
@@pigtailsandteddybears I think it is genetic. My mother in law, husband and daughter all battle with oily hair.
4 months ago I had an accident and shattered my elbow, the pain was very intense, and I remember when I couldn't sleep at night I use to watch these haul, they made me feel better somehow
Now I recovered and still happily come here just because this lady has such a big heart 🧡
I love your grocery hauls, they’re so relaxing to watch. Got to ask, why don’t you do the majority of your shopping at Costco and bjs. From previous videos, it’s obvious you have the memberships. A lot of the things you buy weekly could be bought there in bulk. Crushed tomatoes, diced tomatoes, jarred sauce, tomato sauce, fruit snacks, chip packs, sodas, waters, olive oil, milk, cheese, produce, etc can all be bought at either bjs or Costco . You’d only have to buy one or two packs depending on the size vs 4 and would probably end up saving money. And while yes, there are something’s you’d have to go to the grocery store, the majority could just be done at one of the warehouse stores. Just curious, honestly no hate because I do love your videos.
I remember she mentioned that she likes shopping at Wegman's because of their hiring policy? They hired someone with special needs. Dont take my word for it, tho. 😅
It is my understanding it is not as easy to film in these places.
Cause she just likes to shop … same with me 😅
She definitely likes that Wegmans has ppl to help load the car...I think some special needs workers do that.
Your bananas turn so fast because you have them near the apples. Something in the apples gives off something that makes nanners go brown rapidly. sperate them on different counters and your bananas won't have that issue any more.
wow I usually throw all my fruit together. had no idea.
You don't have to buy oyster shell. Save your egg shells and baked them at 250 for 2 hours and give them to the chickens.
When my daughter was a teen with oily hair, she started adding baking soda to her shampoo (stir them together in a cup) and it REALLY helped! Also, avoid conditioner on the scalp and roots. Only apply it from mids to ends
Hope everyone is having a wonderful day! 😁😁
I just got a new job and I really needed one to be able to finish college, so the past months have been extremely stressful and your channel has been one of which really helped me unwind and have a good distracting 30-60min not thinking about what I'm gonna do with life, so thank you 💜💜
Congratulations on getting a new job Laura!
Congratulations on the new job!
Congrats on the job and finishing college soon!!!
Yay Laura! 🎉 I’m excited for you!! Good luck with college 😁😁
Don’t stress about the future too much. Everything unfolds as it does! Make sure you have fun along the way, learn from your mistakes, and GROW! It only goes up from here! Continue to do great things. I wish you the very very best!!!!
Congrats on the job and graduating college!
I needed this today. Just got home from leaving yesterday for the hurricane. I was blessed my home wasn't damage. Can live with out electric for a couple of days. Thank you so much
I am the stormed passed. I did go to my daughter's on Wednesday but back home now. Thank you
Take care 💕
For oily hair - tell them to try double-washing! Shamoo, rinse and REPEAT! then conditioner. It keeps my hair clean for at least an extra day between washes :)
I'm 58 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, we are finding it impossible to replace it. We can get by, but cant seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 40years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for

@Richard_topestrade
I have extremely oily hair. I’ve tried every shampoo under the sun, and I always go back to Suave Daily Clarifying shampoo. It’s better than all the high end clarifying shampoos. I’d give it a try if the Native doesn’t work for them.
I am fascinated by the amount of shopping- Im exhausted just watching and sitting at my desk LOL I love shopping and running errands but sheesh--- good for the family that they are so patient and calm with all of this. I get flustered when I have to go to 2 places LOL
Bodhi is quite the Artist! Loved the grocery hall! These videos are so fun! Thank you! 💙🧡💙🧡
Love the shopping hauls and seeing what's on the menu for the week!! You always seem so organized.
Look at getting the large #10 cans (usually can get them at the wholesale clubs, BJs, Costco, Sam's, some at Walmart and restaurant supply stores) of sauce, puree, crushed, diced tomatoes, canned fruits and veges, etc when cooking for a large family, it will save you a ton of money, and take up a lot less space. Always look forward to your next video. Keep it movin Momma you are doing an amazing job!!!
Native is absolutely the best brand! My baby is allergic to EVERYTHING that touches her skin but that is the one thing I can put on her and she doesn't break out! They also make a really great face wash! Highly recommend!
Same here! I LOVE the Shea Butter one. My favorite!
I just started using Native body wash. I am loving it. Problem is, it gets so pricey.
Just tried their deodorant..damn high prices but figured I’d try it cause I already was paying 7 for another brand one..
@@Ravenlove2012 How did you like it? And you're right, it can be pretty pricey!
@@rosedark718 You are not wrong! But definitely worth it!
30:06 unless that box is empty there are baby bells on the fourth shelf down😊loving your grocery hauls as ever!
I’m tired and need sleep. But watching this mama comforts me. I know crazy. I’m a grandma. Girl I hope you re socking money away for a rainy day.
Make sure they are not getting conditioner on their scalp as well 😊 my little cousin was having this issue (she doesn't have a mother so I showed her how to wash her hair the correct way since she was just never taught that 🙁) it helped her greasy problem so much! Also a clarifying shampoo or just make sure you get them light shampoo and conditioners. Usually make them for fine hair/oily and easily weighed down hair. They just don't have as much oils and products in them. Hope you find something that works for them ❤️
I love watching you shop , I don't know how you remember what each child likes. That's amazing !! Love & blessings to your family 🥰😘
Every video I shake my head and wonder how in the world you run a house with 14 people. Why do we never see any kids helping ? Amazing that you can get thru a day of shopping and all the other things you have to do!! Bless you and your husband!
The trick to greasy hair is to not shampoo too often! The hair will adjust naturally and stop producing so much oil since it doesn’t need to when you aren’t stripping it daily. Hope this helps!
For Bree & Patrick you could maybe look into getting them custom shampoo with Function of Beauty you can do a hair type quiz and get customised shampoo with their names on the bottle, it's super cute! I have ADHD myself and showering/washing my hair is the absolute WORST thing for me but having the bottle with my name kind of makes it more fun and stimulating
Function of Beauty currently has a law suit against them for causing hair loss and damage just so you know!
@@samanthanorman8995 lol really
If Bree and Patrick’s hair is greasy 10 minutes after they wash it then I have to say that they are using too much shampoo and/or conditioner. Maybe you can give them a measurement of how much the should be using? Also, conditioner is from the neck down not on the scalp.
Another hair care tip I’ve heard for greasy hair, add a drop of blue dawn dish soap to the shampoo when they wash their hair! Got that tip from a cousin when they were pregnant.
Those shops must be happy when they see Alicia coming through the door. 💰💰
I recently tried your recipe for Salisbury Meatballs. It changed the beef broth to chicken brown, I just preferred chicken brown. They came out good and my husband loved them. I halved the recipe.
I love that she goes as hard for her chickens in the hauls as she does the kids lol I adore this woman
Once, my uncle thought he left his keys at the cabin. He didn't want to go by himself, so he had me go with him. We drove all the way down there, and they were in his car. We got a good lunch though.
Sounds like something I would do😂

Cooking tip to try🙌❤️ -👇
Hot pan add sesame oil and then add fresh green beans (can't be frozen beans), fry them for a couple of minutes in the hot sesame oil and serve with steak, chicken, fish anything really!!
Omg amazing!! 😋😋😍
Literally so simple but so tasty!! I'd eat a whole plate to myself 👌👌👌
😋
Bohdi's bird picture very cute🐦love that large haul, and how you managed to pick up that chicken stuff it was really heavy 🏋♀️I wouldn't have managed it😂😂
You should try shopping at an Asian grocery store sometime for around the world Wednesdays. The prices are honestly great and you will find so many fun goodies.
My hair is also on the oily side like Brea and Patrick. I find that shampoo and conditioner lines with peppermint tend to work the best. My latest favorite is the Acure Vivacious Volume. It’s all natural and peppermint based. Gets rid of all the oil and product build up leaving hair soft and not over stripped. Try it out!
Thank you so much for your grocery videos! It helps me to chill :) Best for you and your kids! :)
For Greasy oily hair use Suave Clarifying Shampoo it’s great!
Dental hygienist here. You don't need to replace toothbrushes after a cold or flu. Its more important to do it after having Strep Throat! ❤️
For greasy hair, I completely stopped using products like gel and hairspray altogether. I then switched to V05 shampoo and it made an enormous difference. I actually never use conditioner as I noticed it contributed to the problem for me personally. With V05, I can go several days without needing to wash my hair now. This specific brand has made my hair so much healthier and its actually helped to restore the thickness in my hair too. Bonus, its a cheaper brand too. I never really find it at Wegmans. I do find it hidden at Walmart though. If you decide to try it, check the shelves thoroughly! Usually on the bottom shelf! Part of the problem may also be too much exposure to hair dye and chlorine. I had to stop dyeing my hair because the dye started to damage it.
28:20 love when Alicia laughs at the situations (16 steaks) she finds herself in when she's narrating. Too adorbs.
Tea tree shampoo is what I use. I have naturally oily hair and tea tree helps remove extra oil.
A suggestion for spring roll dipping sauce is fish sauce. All you need is equal parts water, sugar, white vinegar, and bottled fish sauce. Garlic and sambal chill paste to your liking. One cup of each can make about a medium size jar's worth. You can also make a peanut sauce with a bottle of hoisin sauce and about hoisin bottle's worth of water. At least a table spoon of peanut butter but that and sriracha can be added to your liking. Besides that, love the grocery haul vlogs and the kids are very lucky to have you!
Just commenting after the shampoo explanation; I used to have really greasy hair myself, and apart from finding shampoo that worked, I also trained my hair to produce the natural oils less quick. By making the gap between washing my hair (with shampoo) even to 2 or 3 days I noticed amazing results. I can now go double my normal shampoo time without my hair getting greasy.
Obviously I can’t see a Patrick and Bree’s hair, so who knows if it helps, but I did want to share, cause I didn’t know you could ‘train’ your hair to be less greasy until someone told me either :)
That’s interesting! Thanks!
Yes! Its often from over-washing
I've been leaving my hair for longer periods in between washing for 19 years now, every time I go to a hairdressers they tell me what lovely condition my hair is and I've just turned 40 so even all the years of hair dye hasn't effected my hair. Also I've been told not to use conditioner every time you wash your hair as its actually not too good for hair using regularly. Thanks for the video, hope this helps your kiddos
I’m the same it does work. You are an awesome mum Alicia.
Same experience here! I used to wash my hair daily. About a year ago I stopped doing that and slowly increased the amount of time between washes. Now I wash it usually twice a week, occasionally one additional wash if I was doing yard work or something else that gets me very hot/grimy. It takes a while for your hair to get used to fewer shampoos (it will get greasier before it gets better), but after a couple of months, twice a week will be enough and hair won’t get super greasy between washes.
They also keep the baby bells in the first part of the produce section where they keep all of the premade wraps and sandwiches.
You are so sweet to also think about your son's girlfriend that's why I enjoy watching your videos. I may not be commenting always but I like your vids. Love it!
Tell the kids to not use very hot water, when shampooing. Also, do not “scrub” the scalp hard, both of these actions stimulate the oil glands to produce more oil. Soft scalp massage, to cleanse the scalp. Make sure they are lathering twice, also. (hairstylist over 40 years)
Baby bell cheese - look around the deli section where they have the fresh sandwich's and salads. Always enjoy watching!
Sometimes with hair being too greasy, it could be that they don’t need to condition, or at least not use conditioner up at the root. And rinse really well. Also, to help the cause, I’d stay away from shampoo/conditioner combos.
So for my hair I use T sel! And it works so well it also helps with getting all the grease out of there hair and you have to let it set for 10 minutes and you can get it at Walgreens
Love watching the shopping hauls. I want to learn how to coupon though.
One guy from the show extreme couponing had a total of over $1,200+ and paid $0 using coupons.
The store even ended up owing him money back.
Anyway, yeah. Love ya 🧡🧡🧡🧡
I seriously does look forward for your videos beautiful family God protection over you and your family and everyone else
Make me so excited to watch OCTOBER Halloween and birthday videos! Haha
hey Fam. I just started to watch your channel and Im 💘ing it. keep up the great vids.
Don't forget ZBrie and Patrick need shampoo.
All your children are beautiful but Bree is absolutely my favorite she's got such a gentle sweet nature about her she needs her shampoo. Dont forget incredible perdon that you are.
Try telling Bre to not put the conditioner on her roots When she conditions just condition the ends of the hair and only put shampoo on the roots of your hair
Wallmart is the only place I can find the Wright brand bacon. SO yummy. A little pricey, but worth it. Nice thick cuts =)
I have realy bad fibro flare and the only thing that makes me forget im in pain are your shopping videos...i just love shopping with you ...💕from slovenia
At our wal mart the baby bel cheese is in the cheese section and if you go where the bakery/deli is, the coolers where they have the subway looking sandwiches, ours usually has baby bel cheese there as well! And I've also seen it where they have the bacon... there's a small section of cheeses there and I've seen the baby bel there as well!
The fruit and veg cart should be full to the top but it's the least full
You need to get a credit card that gets cash back on groceries and gas and restaurants you could be earning so much cash back! And credit cards come with so many protections and warranties! You should get the Citi custom cash card!
It really smart getting your Halloween stuff now before everything sold out!!
Sidebar looking forward to see you wrap up all the birthday gifts this month....!!!!🤗🤗🤗🤗
😁😁😁
Honestly Alicia the green apple head and shoulders works great too! And you can find that most anywhere
The perfect upload for an uneasy day
🧡🧡🧡
Anyone else notice she said she couldn’t find baby bell cheese but it was right there? Lol😂
You should make sure they’re not putting conditioner on their scalp, that will make their hair look greasy even if it’s freshly washed
Yes another great shopping trip, & what a big Walmart, I will be checking mine to see if it carries half the stuff I saw but I Love window shopping so that must be 1 of the reasons I like your shopping trips..oh & Thanks didn't realize Tractor Supply carried boots 👍
I have very greasy hair and I wash my hair with Dawn dish liquid. I figured if it can wash greasy ducks, it will work on me.. I can go 3 days without washing my hair and I use," Not your Mother's" dry shampoo in Beach Babe. It's just a spray and it doesn't spray white like the other brands
Ok that’s actually brilliant.
I would recommend Love beauty and planet shampoos and conditioners because I know bree has colored hair (if I remember it's blue) but they are a very good company and it's very well decently priced and has a very well selection It may not work for a lot of people which is normal but if you haven't tried its something that might be good it's also at target, Walmart, and Amazon 😊 I love you guys and your videos I always love to watch them every day and cheer up with they are my highlight to my day 😊 💜
Ok if this one I ordered doesn’t work i’ll try that! Thanks!
@@DoughertyDozen no problem! Keep being amazing and I love you guys y'all are the best!! 😊
Thanks for shopping at TSC! We appreciate it. The team members there will be happy to help you load up!
Totally love watching your videos. And I love how you always think of every one of your kids.
I had really oily hair and skin as a teen and young adult. I always used a cheap brand, suave clarifying shampoo. It's like a light blue color almost clear with a picture of a water droplet on front. Worked great for me
I absolutely love watching your videos especially since I love shopping it's like I'm shopping with you but it never costs me... Keep your longer videos coming tho. Also when I'm feeling down I turn on one of your videos and my mood is flipped up.. I am amazed that you haven't gone grey with 12 children though... And I absolutely love your " but first coffee" motto... You're amazing for welcoming so many children in your life and home.
hi alicia! i just wanted to say that your videos help me so much when i'm feeling anxious, like right now:) you bring a lot of kindness and joy to the world and i think that's an amazing thing. i really admire your positive mindset and i hope you and the fam are well!
Thank you so much!!
Try clarifying shampoo on them. It strips the oils out. I have to use it on my hair and it helps alot
Me laughing at Zoeys comment bc I knew exactly where that coffee was from without the logo showing 😂 I think I’m in drive thrus too muchhhhhh now
I know this is old but I had greasy hair which I fixed with soap. I used to get the harshest shampoos and scrub and scrub but 1 hour later it was oily again. Then I switched to soap - natural bali soap - and the lack of artificial chemicals in the soap made my hair so strong, sleek, not oily, and voluminous. Any soap would work actually. Better for the environment too.
Alicia, love your grocery haul, don’t know but it relaxes me🤷🏻♀️. Just wondered if you’ve ever heard of the Ibotta app? You get $$ back if you buy certain items at grocery stores. You could get quite a bit back with your big shopping trips. 😊
She does use that app sometimes. I just know that because in the comments she is/was encouraged not to show her receipts.
How many chickens do you have...will you show them?
Are there kids assigned to care feed them, gather the eggs?
Hairitage shampoo line is very good at helping with an oily scalp only sold at Walmart and very inexpensive ☺️
Yay upload on my bday!!!! Love you Alicia ❤️
I love your videos! Btw you walked straight past the babybel when you were asking us if we could find any @30:06 😊
4th shelve!
In the middle ❤
Why don’t you buy most of your groceries at Costco or another big box store. Seems like would be more economical.
my 18 month old son hated it when I brushed his teeth. He loves Miffy, so we bought a Miffy roothbrush. Now when I ask if Miffy can brush his teeth, he opens his mouth. Whatever works, works
I've never heard of lasagne soup, can we have the recipe please. Thanks from the UK 🇬🇧 🍲🧡
I really love your grocery vlogs Alicia, it makes me feel like I'm the one doing the grocery shopping. 🤭😁😁😁💗
I am pretty sure Native does not have a shampoo for oily hair. I started trying it because I wanted to go sulfate, paraben, silicone free, but when shampoos don’t have those things, they don’t strip your hair, thus possibly leaving it greasy if you have oily hair, which I don’t usually. I have tried three Native lines: moisturizing, volumizing, and daily clean. Daily clean is my favorite for sure, but I still don’t think it would be great for oily scalps. Every few weeks I use a harsh shampoo just to really clear the build up.
I find the baby bell cheese in the bakery/deli of my local grocery store. I absolutely love your vlogs 💜
We got tiles for our car keys and a few other things (girls' hair brush👐). So now we can page our keys from the echo/phone/kindle etc.
Awesome! They just came out with tile labels! I’m getting the launch product this week. It’s just like a peel and stick label. Dash said ‘can you put one on my glasses so I stop losing them??’😂
@@DoughertyDozen Glasses is my chief thing I still want one for. I am forever putting them down and then too blind to find them again.
Omggg I love these videos 😂
For their shampoo I use to have extremely greasy hair until I switched to cantu for natural hair and I don't wash it every day. and now its healthier than before. there was a transition period when I switched where it became really greasy but it was worth it for how healthy it is now
I’ve always had the same issue with my hair, if you go in the hair mask, gel, area there’s a brand called heritage that has acv rinse and a rice water rinse I highly HIGHLY recommend it’s don’t my hair wonders!!
Just now watching this video... NO JOKE... This morning getting ready for work I couldn't find my car keys! lol they were underneath a basket that was on my table haha! Thought i'd share!
Also, the great thing about these videos is the meal ideas. Pepperoni Pizza Pasta Bake, Fajitas, Around The World theme... delicious times!😋😋
Thanks!!!
My daughter has the same issue with the oily hair right after washing so I did some looking on the old google and found a recommendation that worked amazing. L'Oreal Paris Elvive Extraordinary Clay Rebalancing shampoo and conditioner has worked liked a charm. It helps keep the oil at bay but her hair is still so soft and it keeps the frizz tamed at the same time.
My daughter is a very picky eater. Its hard to get her to eat most things. One thing she will for sure eat is smiley fries but i have a very had time finding them here in Panama city Florida. I was getting her those little pop n chicken meals with the smiley fries in it but they changed the smiley fries in it to dinosaur fries and she wont eat those. When i saw those bags of smiley fries i wanted to cry so bad. I wish we had those here.
try a clarifying shampoo from Sally's Beauty Supply their generic brand is really nice
Baby bell was with the cheese time stamp @ 30:05. It's in the red box next to the paw patrol cheese.
I have a gremlin in my house who loves keys, as soon as I put them down they disappear. I yell out 'where have you put them now!!!' and he/she/it does it all day long every day😁😁 THe gremlin has the habit too of somehow hiding in the car and putting them in my pockets, when I have checked them but somehow they are always there after searching a 100 times!!
Maam i have good advise for you. You should buy your food from a Comercial supplier like Sysco or the like. I'm sure that you would be able to get much more food for your dollar. you would have to buy things by the case and they will have a minimum dollar that you would have to spend. But i'm sure you would be very suprised the difference in wholesale and retail food prices.
Ethnic hair tip here: go over to the black hair care aisle and get the tee- tree shampoo. Wash the hair to remove the oil . I recommend every other wash. Not every wash.
When looking for babybel cheese, look over by the deli, where they sell the hot food. It’s usually over there by the fancier dips and cheese and pre made salads and subs.
