It was moving at maybe 60 mph. That's why it seemed to take forever for the warning to go out. They found a second track in town, so it's possible that there were two on the ground at the same time, but in different areas.

@@nolancain8792 The main funnel did have a satellite, but it was more well-defined in a photo as it was tearing down Louisville Rd toward the Corvette Factory. There was a completely separate damage track from the main funnel. This storm had 3 separate areas of rotation, one north of town in Hobson Grove, the big tornado in the middle of town, and a small one around Woodburn.

@@GojiKaichou I definitely caught the main one, for some reason it just looked like a tiny funnel to its side like it was trying to make a 4th one or my camera sucked given no light.

      @GojiKaichou 2 роки тому +5

@@nolancain8792 it was cycling at that time, trying to go through funnel replacement. The problem with that is the forward speed of the tornado was faster than the rear flank downdraft, which normally cuts the circulation off and new circulations form in the meso to replace the lost one. Fast forward speed means multiple tornadoes can be on the ground at one time for a long distance.

So many volunteers have been out here helping - offering food and water. Truly amazing what they’re doing. I hope everyone in this video made it out of the storm well!

Y'all must also know the historicity of this book called the "Holy Bible". It's better praying while we keep the Law than praying and not keeping the Law. Would you reward your children for disobeying you? The only thing the bible is, is a Roman product filtered through by Constantine and the council he set up, while also handily changed the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday, because they were a Sunday Sun worshipping, Greek gods infatuating pagan nation. How could anyone in power stand their own being converted to some bloke from Nazareth.
Just like a CD has a music order and its artists. So does the bible has its books and its writers. But the writers did not write for the bible. The prophets and the judges only wrote for their times. For the bible was only amalgamated around the year 325 AD with Jewish sources and the Master’s with the 12’s, and then “Apostle” Paul, the 13th.
It did not fall from the sky, nor did "God" ever vowed to protect a man made book made to relax His Laws and Commandments with Paul's ridiculousness. A Man made book put together by Rome, corrupted and sold for money, with obviously stolen and incredible articulations within to appeal to the Goodness in us, but the tyranny available for authorities to abuse, namely Paul's epistles. None other, who else feels like Paul in the bible, no one else, he seems to be the be all end all. Everything is permissible he says, tell that to Eve when she was about to eat the fruit in front of everyone who had ever been alive and they would slap Paul silly putting us through thousands of years of trouble and tribulations.
The only thing that converted Romans faster than an earlier Iphone advert telling you the next one is better were healing miracles by faith, and somethings else the Apostles did to achieve healing miracles no one in church does today. That is why the bible was put together, this order of books, Genesis to Malachi, Matthew to Revelations. This order of books specifically, is of Roman origin. Especially the latter end, with paul's epistles.
The only defining thing that says the Savior is with a group of people or someone, is of righteous behaviors, with faith prayer based healing miracles that accompany them. None of the churches today has any healing miracles, everyone is doing lip service on Sunday about how much they love "Jesus" like they are singing a song, then goes back to completely being in a forgetful state from Monday to Saturday. Read the Gospel of the Nazirenes, also known as the Gospel of the Holy 12. Gives you a definite answer on why there are hardly any healing miracles in the world today because of the heathen state we had fallen in. Read how it was found in 1870's, read how it was quoted by all the early church leaders and apostles, then later hidden in Tibet for almost 1700 years because Rome did not like the amount of people building up a new religion in front of their Greek God infatuation. The top brass will see an "anarchy" coming, if you understand power you will understand this corruption.

It's quite the feeling when the power goes out and all you hear is the pounding rain and wind...you realize that humans aren't in control, and what you're witnessing is pure nature. That, no matter what we do, nature will always be in control and we can't stop it. Yep.. that area of the country has the most violent weather in the world. That cold dry Canadian air battling the warm moist air from the south causes such extreme weather conditions. It’s a function of geographic topography. There is no north to south mountain range to tame the air masses, thus it’s not a suitable place for humans to live. I hear these people on television saying we are resilient and will build back. Maybe they should drop the egotistical crap of “Mother Nature will not defeat us” and be rational and consider that maybe this is not a good place to rebuild and in 50 years have their children be wiped out yet again by a tornado, but people are so hard headed and think they are so invincible.

Hey Nolan! I was getting ready to write a reply on this video when I noticed the name of the channel. If you don't remember my name, I was in the environmental science senior seminar class this past semester, with Professor Brown.
Anyways, I was in the direct path of this tornado. I live on Nutwood Street off of the bypass. I enjoy meteorology even though I majored in karst, so I was tracking this tornado outbreak. I followed the supercell that moved through Tennessee into Kentucky towards Bowling Green for the good part of 2 hours. As it approached I noticed the velocity scans showing multiple rotations in the storm. As they neared BG, they seemed to combine right as they hit the Creekwood area. About this time our power went out and I had no internet. We were watching the storm out the front window when suddenly we noticed a gray blur and the storm picked up 10 fold. The way I would describe the sound was something between a jet engine on full blast and standing underneath the Niagara falls. After what seemed like only 5 seconds, there was an eerie silence. We stepped out of our house to find devastation all around us. Thankfully, nobody in our house was injured. I've always wanted to see a tornado, but not that close, and not in my neighborhood.

Optimistically, I would like to say I could see a funnel at the 1:18 and 1:27 timeframes, but it's still hard to see at night. This illustrates how dangerous nocturnal tornadoes can be due to lack of visibility in general.

yea that was close....those kids are lucky it didnt hit the complex there would have been many deaths probably...my cousin and his wife were killed 2 years ago in El Reno, Ok. but they were in a mobile home...well, we think he was outside and she was inside when it hit because of where they were found. It was at 10:30 at night and there was no warning just a line of storms that hadnt produced any tornados all night and as soon as it got close to them an EF-3 formed and they took a direct hit....it was really strange and sad...

It's an eerie calm. I lived just long enough in Moore, Oklahoma to live through an F 3 tornado. We (Foolishly) went out into my works' parking lot, and I was amazed how calm the air was. Sky was dark green behind the wall cloud to our south but air was calm and quiet. Right before work made an announcement to get into the designated storm room. We (wisely) got in there!!

My boyfriend and I lived on a third floor apartment so we drove to his brothers to take shelter. We took the parkway towards the corvette museum. The path of the tornados ended up being parallel to the parkway and they ended up crossing over on the ramp we had to use to get off. I wonder today where exactly the tornados were compared to us. It was really scary and I’m thankful we didn’t get caught up in them. When we get a house, the first thing I am getting is a tornado shelter!!!

I feel like with the technology we have today, and all the research done, and lives lost while researching these tornadic storms, we should be able to predict and get those sirens going off well before a tornado is on ground. Last week we had similar storms on december 15th in the midwest and my area had a tornado, the sirens didn't even go off until the thing was literally slamming my house and that's just ridiculous. I had my door open peeking outside not even noticing a funnel spinning overhead because it's pitch black out. I'm lucky that thing wasn't fully developed or i wouldn't be here. Kind of pisses me off to see in this video no sirens went off until it started spinning up power lines. Don't know if it's just my weather service but they've been pretty shit at their job the last few years. They use to have the weather predictions spot on and tornado sirens going minutes before developement.
