5 Things to do in Rhodes for Little or NO cost!

RHODES, GREECE-
Rhodes Cruiseport is a great place to save your money and do your own mini-excursion using the Hop On Hop Off!
There are so many places to explore within a short walking distance and I’m uncovering 5 for little or no cost!
1. The Medieval City Walls 🏰 are literally within minutes of the cruise port! You can walk around them, or visit the cobblestoned pathways inside them!
2. The Hop On Hop Off - 🚌 it is approx $15 US to go on a day pass that will allow you to stop at any of their stops (which includes downtown, Mandraki Harbour and a beach!)
3. Mandraki Harbour ⛵️ was where one of the ancient wonder of the world stood, the Colossus of Rhodes who guarded the harbour. The harbour is now home to a marina, cruise port and ferries!
4. The Castle 🏰 - Inside will cost a small fee but you can walk the exterior and the moat which is quite impressive and a beautiful walk (for free).
5. Shopping within the city walls 🛍️- there are so many vendors to see inside and outside the walls. They sell silver, gold, leather, rugs, honey and candy (among so many other things)!
6. BONUS- There are quite a few beaches in this small island and all they will cost is an umbrella, lounge chair and maybe water closet fees!
