    I was really struggling to remember the formula for conversions. This easy guide helped significantly and has helped me complete this assignment in what would otherwise be an untimely manner. Thank you so much!

    This is the way to teach math!!
    Write out every step.
    Speak at medium to slow speed. Keep a stable volume.
    This teacher is just wonderful.

    how i learnt this in 1960 was 60mph=88ft/s
    then scale from that.
    so 90ft/s is
    (90/88)*60mph
    but usually we were given a question that gave a whole number answers.
    Note 66 ft=1 chain=1/10th furlong= 1/80th mile, so 88ft=1/60th of a mile.
    60mph = 1 mile/minute = 1/60th mile per second.

    I do this calculation often on an old hand Texas calculator, and do it the easy way for me. Example: 88 feet per second x 60 seconds = feet per minute then multiply this answer X 60 minutes = feet per hour and divide this answer by 5280 feet in a mile = 60 MPH. Easy! I could do it with paper and pencil, but the calculator is my friend.

    You need to turn off the "child" filter on some of your videos so that I can actually save them to my playlist.

    I have always used 60 mph equals 88 ft/ sec so multiply by 60 and divide by 88 gives 61..3636,,,,

      Didn't he say that at the end?
      What he showed is how that ratio is derived, so if you forget the 3600/5280, you can drive it from those other numbers.
