I am a high school teacher. Critical race theory does nothing but treat certain minorities like 'lesser than'. No student strives by constantly talking about excuses and victimhood, not one! On the contrary they are starving for a challenge to be accountable and to achieve through hard work, they want pride ! As a child of an immigrant parent (Italy), divorce, working class poor, etc.... I strived because I was taught to achieve, no excuses. I would be a statistic if I played the victimhood game. Thank god my mom that battled alcoholism and raised 3 kids on a secretary's salary, made us to be accountable !
If there is anything that needs to be taught in schools, it should be vocational training, trade, agricultural economics, investments and financial management. What is the economic impact of the CRT? how many jobs does it create?

I'm late to the party with every thing going on, but this CRT to me is just useless infermation in the real world. Will this help my kid get a job? or keep a job? Will it inprove his spelling so he dosent spell like his mom? Will this help him build a house or a shead? will this help him use a computer to cacculate the distance to say the fatherist planet? Will this make him a confadent man? or will it make him weak and meak? will this expand his mind in helping him make the right decsions as an adult? Will this keep him from being a tenage dad? We have all tooken slave history in one form or another, it did NOTHING to improve my life as a woman wife and mother. Just add questions like, it happend its over move on, why are we still talking about it? History is a good thing to luren provided we dont repat it. But you can NOT cover all of it in one year or even years, theres just to much Slave history..... I as a mom can not see it helping my child in his adult life at all... so why not put the efferts in to Trade Schools, or the FFA? finding a carpenter is hard there not enuff to go around, or even an electrisions or plumbers. Thats something that will help him as an adult. at leatst then he will always have a job and the ability to feed his family... This CRT wont help him get a job wont feed his family and wont keep a roof over there heads. Isnt that what school is supose to do? to help the parents teach there kids how to feed there familys?

Any insinuation that HB1775 would prevent teachers from accurately teaching the Tulsa Race Riot or any other historical event involving race is an outright lie. Read the bill. Don’t let people lie to you. The bill bans teaching students that one race is superior to another and that they should be ashamed of their race. It does not ban teaching ANY factual history whatsoever.
