Ahh I tried to wait one time but sometimes I just can't hold it. Especially when we visit family that lives 2 hours away from us, lately I just bring wet wipes but will invest in a portable bidet soon.
Don’t feel shy about your old car. Mine is 2007 and also has cd player but I love the peace of mind and that I don’t have payments. Eventually I’ll have to upgrade if something major goes wrong, but no part of me wants to go out looking for a different car.
Loved this video! Thank you for sharing so many money saving tips and products. These are all great because they last so long especially that planner and bidet. Added that backpack to my wishlist as well for work, travel & hiking trips.
You are so welcome Mel! So funny because I was just telling my partner just now how much I love that damn backpack, it’s a like a magic trick with the amount of things you can fit in it.
Great picks, Kyra. I would say my #1 item is my daily planner. I do a bullet journal style and I do switch them out every year. Last year I splurged and got a LLeuchtturm1917 planner which is a very popular and mid range priced planner. I liked it but not enough to pay that price again, so I went back to my Micheal's brand Artist's Loft planner for $10 ($8 on sale) for 2024! My toehr daily go-to is my Goal Zero portable charger which I use pretty much every day and is small enough to carry even in a clutch purse. Tfs!
@@Living.minimal it seems like you already customize your planner quite a bit so I think you would really enjoy it. I keep mine simple and I use a lot of stickers because I can't draw LOL
Kyra be careful with the portable chargers it can start fires specially if it’s a hot day and u leave it the car .. love the list the lil green machine is a life saver it keeps my sofa new
WOW I'm a 90s baby and I use to own a ton of cds but in 2016 I decide to get rid of them all along with my dvd collection because I was embracing a minimalist lifestyle. That's when I signed up for Spotify 🫶🏻 to have access to all those albums I donated without the clutter. But defiantly do what's best for you.
Could have sworn i just left this, but just in case...lol you might like this hack I saw on TikTok. Instead of buying dishwasher pods, allegedly we can fill the small tray in the dishwasher with 3 drops of dawn soap and the rest of the tray, with pure baking soda. I haven't tried this yet but curious to see if it REALLY works.
Someone recommended trying Dawn….. Nooooo! Do not use Dawn or hand dishwashing liquid unless you want a room full of foam. No joke, it’s a flood of bubbles and wet foam that comes out of the dishwasher.
@@ONCEINABLUEMOON1993 thank you!!! But this is feeling like telling a kid not to touch wet paint. Part of me still wants to give it a try. Lmao…. But I don’t want a house full of sudds 😅
Ahh I remember when I was a dishwasher at the nursing home and someone did this. OMG the asking of foam in that kitchen was insane!! It was like a spring break foam party in there 😅. Definitely don’t recommend at all, it took us 4 days to clean that entire kitchen. We had to wait like 2 days for the studs to go down.
@@Living.minimal lmao… glad I mentioned it because your video reminded me of that “hack” and I was about to try it to let you know how it worked out Lmao…until I saw the feedback 😅😅😅
Easier than bidet is bidet shower. Its like small shower head, there are options with temperature regulation as well. And they are installed right next to the toilet in wall.
This is a great list of essentials. We are definitely on the same wavelength. Loving the content! I find dish detergent powder to be more effective than pods and much more economical. ❤❤
Awesome! Thank you Jewel, lately I've been drying out the dropps brand but we will see how it goes when it comes to our budget. What powered do you use and is it unscented/toxic free? I found that when I was using cascade dishwasher pods our dishes tasted like soap 🤢
#1, the star of the month 🤣 I agree, when you live in a place where that is normal part of the bathroom you don't see the benefit. The same can happen with other appliances that maybe are not so common in other countries but are in the USA
I'm so with you on the dishwasher! When I moved into my apartment, I was so anti-dishwasher for some silly reason. My partner eventually just started using it and I realized how much easier it makes things, the kitchen it just cleaner more often. There were a few days it was broken and I couldn't believe I lived without using it for so long
I totally get where you're coming from! Sometimes, we don't realize the convenience until we start using something regularly. Dishwashers are game-changers, right? It's amazing how they make life a bit simpler and keep the kitchen tidier. It's funny how our perspective can shift once we embrace these handy appliances.
They are phenomenal and very inexpensive these days. We payed less than $30 for ours and it only took 10 minutes to set up. Surprisingly they are renter friendly too.
It's so good! I promise you, you will never go back to wiping with toilet paper again. As for the dishwasher, let's just say that little guy is my bff when it comes to doing all the hard work after a meal. And Waze is amazing for parking when your in the city or when it comes to road work and how it re routes you right away.
Yes to a part 2! I also love Waze and my dishwasher.
I definitely need a part 2 ❤
Coming soon 🫶🏻
Hey girlllllll, here for it!!!
Happy holidays🫶🏻🎄
I have a bidet and if I’m out and I need to go #2, I wait until I go home! 😂
Ahh I tried to wait one time but sometimes I just can't hold it. Especially when we visit family that lives 2 hours away from us, lately I just bring wet wipes but will invest in a portable bidet soon.
Would love a part 2!
Agreed🙏
Definitely will be doing a part 2 in the future 🤍
I’ve never even heard of a multiple year planner - genius!
Yes, please to part 2
I bought the same bidet, yes its so worth it! Thank you for the suggestion.
You are so welcome! Best inexpensive bidet ever 🙌🏻
The green machine, bought that thing on your recommendation from that video way back when lol thank you!! So true, it’s worth every penny!!!
Truly is! I use it once every season to deep clean our couch 🙌🏼. Three years owning it and it still works Iike new.
The upholstery seems good to clean the mattress, but if I’m correct the steam is missing which kills the dust mites
Waze is the superior navigation for sure 👍👍👍
Definitely 🙌🏼

Yass team no car payments! I feel the same way, hopefully mine lasts along time like yours. I really don't want to purchase a new car either.
Would love a part 2 ❤

Hey kyra where did you purchase your sea grass baskets ?
Hi Stephanie my baskets are from home goods 🫶🏻. I wish I could link them but home goods doesn't have a site 🤷🏻♀️

Thank you for telling me this. Luckily in Boston its more cold than hot here but I will keep my eye on the temp next summer.
😂💁🏽♀️I have a 2017 and it has a 💿player. I still use it. I'm an 80s child. I still own alot of cd's from the 90s!

Not to be overdramatic and obviously an adult who has to pay for everything herself...bidets are love. 😂 Some day soon I'll have my own.
