Absolutely love Metamorphoses! One of my all time favorite classics, and it was one of my most daunting reads as of yet 💖. Also just did a reading challenge to get me out of a reading slump and it helped so much! Always love watching your content
This week I listened to "Just for the Summer" audiobook at the gym (because the music they play is awful) and I loved it so much, it is such a solid 6 out of 5 that I had to buy a physical copy of it, and of course get to listen to "Part of Your World" audiobook now. I am on a buying ban for the rest of the month but come August I'm going to buy all of the books by Abby Jimenez I can find. Her heroes are true golden retrievers, don't you think?
Hi!!!!!!!!!!!! You persuaded me again and I will join this Spin the Wheel challenge once more. First of all, I apologize if my English is not correct. Monday: 150 pages. I finished rereading Pride and Prejudice (86 pages), and started reading Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell by Susanna Clarke (41 pages). I panicked about how slow this book reads, haha, and I was running out of time, so I started another called La Tregua by Mario Benedetti (23 pages). I completed the challenge literally just in time. Read for: 3 hours and 42 minutes. Tuesday: 125 pages. I continued reading Clarke's book (47 pages) and I don’t know what possessed me, but I started the Game of Thrones series (47 pages). I never liked the show, but my brother lent me his copy and I couldn’t resist, I’m liking it. I continued with La Tregua (42 pages). I wanted to give this author a chance, it’s going okay. Read for: 4 hours and 30 minutes. I don't know how it's possible to spend more hours reading but cover fewer pages; I guess it's because today's book choices, like Jonathan Strange and Game of Thrones, are very dense and have a lot of content per page. The language might also be a factor. Wednesday: 150 pages. My god, my eyes are going to fall out.
I read Part of Your World and Yours Truly recently. I enjoyed Yours Truly more with being more relatable but still found Part of Your World cute. Happy reading!
