The obvious follow up question would be: now how to make studio one's browser know that is is where you installed it, when I click Loops in the browser, nothing shows up.
I am having the same trouble with one of my external drives not being shown in the Browser>File>File menu. PreSonus won't help. I asked them multiple ways politely, and they say they do not recommend storing Sound Libraries on a separate drive. They insist I should store 3rd party, huge, sound sets and loop libraries or wav sets on my internal drive! The only winner is Apple if systems require giant internal drives to store stagnant libraries. Other than that, Studio One is Amazing. Running Version 6.1. Help Anyone!!??!!
My Native soundsets will not open, or transfers will not drag and drop into new songs. also not listed in the file browser. they are in documents on drive C. im pulling my hair out. Help?
I am trying to set studio one up to save recorded songs I do to my external hard drive. I go to preferences/locations I find my external hd in the list. Then go into an empty song, record a song. Go to save as and again I see it's going to be going to my external hd, then I go to save it and I keep getting an error message and it says cannot save and such n such. I know the hard drive is def setup correctly on my Mac and it had 1.76 TB left out of 2TB. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. I'm down to 83 gbs left only now my MacBook Pro internal hd. Thanks.
Oh, God. I'm having the same problem. Thought this was the escape from hell with AVID's subscription nonsense, This is another form of hell. Those Germane engineers at PreSonus are capable of anything, but they focus on more glitzy features instead of best practices in file management running a studio. Running Version 6. This should be fixed by now. Ableton finder style browser would be awesome.
Thanks for the video. quick question. do you suggest putting the instruments (mai tai, etc) on the main system drive and put all other content like sound set on the external or does it really matter, will studio one will still pick everything up on the external drive? also to be clear the actual studio one application is on the system drive though, am i correct? i have an external drive that i need to format but i don't know if i should format it to exfat or mac journal. i am using a mac mini but i plan to add a second drive running windows.
What up. Great videos guys. I need help. I want to make some own synthesis by sampling some short sample loop it and use it on keyboard. Is ir possible in S1? I know the day dream sound on YT who explain this basic synthesis on ensoniq asr 10. I am so sorry for my english :)

Yes but you can’t use it with any other DAW. Only with Studio One. Is there a way around it?
Will there be any lag of some sort after this. Assuming the external drive is an SSD of course.
