Hi, I know this isn’t a reveal channel, but that bit at the start with the crossing hands is easy. Note it cuts away from him then back before he twists. When the camera cuts away he finds an excuse to unclasp very briefly. Then he re-clasps.... bu slightly differently to how he was before....

Paddle across the ditch and maybe Australia's Got Talent will give you a go. :)

The "shrinking" was also done by a magician on Alyson on "Fool Us". I think you reacted to it (& of course, I could be wrong) That one was vertical rather than horizontal.

phxbillcee the vertical one I think is a better version. Just because it seems more impossible.

Or that's what David Copperfield wants you to think. Magic!

Personally I've always found big stage acts pretty boring. It's too easy to spot the gimmicks most of the time. I'm much more a fan of up close magic; I enjoyed your intro trick more than the main event today.

Simply amazing. I love his use and manipulation of shadows. Even the order of those illusions serve a purpose.

eh... I have to say I prefer street, close-up, and sleight of hand magic (because to me there's way more skill involved then some gimmicky props). and that's probably why I never really checked out david Copperfield's stuff even though he is a living legend and yes he's the richest entertainer but I just can't get into much stage magic even though most people say ohhh you have to see whoever live on stage. but tbh I gotta admit (and please no hating) I just recently went to see criss angel perform live at foxwoods casino because I had to see it for myself because so many people either love it or hate it but ehhh it was only an "ok" show to me idk I just expected more from someone who claims to have the best magic show in the world. anyways I posted an article on your fb page about the david blaine rape accusations because I just wanted to see what you think about it whether you believe it or not so i'd like to know your opinion. so yea another good video I love your reactions!

I went to Vegas a few years ago and one of the shows I saw was David Copperfield's. He performed the same motorcycle and box tricks back then too lol

I like your vids. I'm not a magician but I enjoy the skill involved and your take on the techniques. Though I have to say, I've never seen a Copperfield illusion that I could't figure out.

I'm pretty sure the "layers" method is correct. Although even if you known the method It still fools your eyes. That's a trick he's been doing for years.

    Hey Eduard,
If you still seek suggestions of videos to react. There's a magician from Quebec who did a great presentation in front of a celebrity from here. It's in french, but the theme is about going back in time. ua-cam.com/video/ZaHfZ4m26ng/v-deo.html

The hand trick at the start:
He crosses his hands like everyone else. Then he unclasps to distract and points at something and says “Sir you’re doing it wrong” or similar. Camera cuts away for this bit. Then he puts his hands back together but another way round so he can now flick easily, but the audience can’t.

I must be the only guy that really finds Copperfield intolerable. I just can't watch a guy flash his ego so much. Yuck.
