Nice Camp Andre!! I am really digging that OD Green RocShield! I purchased the Solo Homestead TC in Brown and lovin' it but now rethinking about the green. It looks so much nicer on your video than in their sales photo. You know what? I wish they would make the Outback Retreat in the TC material since it has the smaller doors and vestibules on the end like a regular tent. They sure do make some great stuff! You are going to have to add an indoor woodstove and use that stove jack seeing how it's now winter down under. Love your videos! Jeff
Hey mate you make top quality videos and is up there with the best Wish more people knew about your channel Gradually looking at all your past ones. Especially like the family camp in the Barossa Valley Ranges. Like the camp braai.
Nice vid again, thank you. Lovely location, and cool gear 🤓. I like those little metal tables you cooked on, v handy. I also use a little mesh tent to sleep in and they're cosy aren't they. little bug free warm cocoon. I stick my tent (Teton Sport Instant) on a stretcher (Darche xl100) and love the simplicity. Often just put it under the pull out vehicle awning. How do you find the Sea to summit Cookware? I've been eyeing up the Sea to Summit or the Stanley Adventure. P. S. smash the Uncle Ben's rice up whilst still in the packet.
That's an awesome tip! I'll do that next time! I really like the Sea to Summit gear. The pots and pans are very thin so heat distribution can be an issue and they are a little prone to burning but i think they are great or the money. My only other recommendation would be to get the Primus Stainless Steel gear, it's stunning and very nice although i've not tried it yet. Thanks or your comment!
@@TheMidweekEscapeArtist oh sick, thanks mate! Keep it up with your content! definitely gave me a few ideas as I been watching your videos for quite some time. I will be getting my jimny this week.
I enjoyed the video! Keep up the good work. Your dinner looked amazing!

I haven’t used my homestead in a long time. I find it too restrictive now ;-) the Roc is a great piece of kit!!!!
I’m seriously thinking about getting a stove (;-)

@@TheMidweekEscapeArtist Cheers, I'll check out the Primus sets available 👌
Nice video, well done!
Any experience in rain? Does it leak?
Never leaked, it’s perfect as long as you set it up well.
Hey mate, where'd you buy those tables from? Looks light weight and packs small! Would love to know!
Super light weight. I got mine from drifta: www.drifta.com.au/product/drifta-stockton-mesh-coffee-table/

I can, but i'm 1.64m...
@@TheMidweekEscapeArtist @180 could I?
@@stevem4468 not at the back, but if you use slightly longer poles in the front you’ll be able to lift it up.
@@TheMidweekEscapeArtist thanks man.
