Mahomes has a baseball past. His dad played professionally and he played all through high school. He is a football player who throws the ball like a baseball player. Hence the side-arm pass and the other crazy things he does with the ball. It's amazing to watch!
Kyler Murray throws a real clean ball as well, not as crafty as Mahomes but his spirals are perfect almost every time. Baseball players make great passers in football it seems.
Nelson King A little before the season started, there was video released of him doing it. Just search “Mahomes throw out of stadium” and a video should come up
That's insane that he switched hands while running and threw the ball with his left hand! I'm not a Chiefs fan but I am definitely a Mahomes fan! He is just phenomenal and so much fun to watch!
Mahomes is a BEAST. I think he outlasts Jackson, as he doesn't rely so heavily on his run ability to save plays. Gonna be exciting to watch him throughout his career
jackson will fade away. he'll be exciting to watch but like Cunningham and Vick he'll never win when he needs to, unless he changes his style, which usuallyruins quarterbacks
The Chiefs vs the Texans in the 1st play off game was one of my favorite games to watch. Not only did Mahomes close the gap of a 24 point deficit, he also tied the record for most touchdowns in 1 quarter in a post season game. The Chiefs scored so many touchdowns, that the Chiefs' Arrowhead Stadium ran out fireworks for Chiefs touchdowns and the broke a record for most touchdowns in 1 half of a game in a post season game.
My dad got to witness his beloved Cubbies win the Series when he was almost 80, and I got to see my Chiefs win the Bowl at the age of 46. How 'bout those... CHIEFS!
That surprised me too. Loved it. What makes it even better is I think that Joe Montana wanted to go into the HofF as a Chief, didn't he? If I remember correctly.

Yeah but the Chiefs had zero defense that year, and the Rams were carried by their defense that year. Look at the difference now. Rams didn't even make the playoffs in 2019/2020 but the Chiefs did. He squeezes it through such a tight passing window and would never complete that pass if he didn’t thro the ball exactly the way he throws it.
