Guys when you reboot your Mac, simultaneously hold down these keys Command + Option + R (not just Apple/Command + R). In the 'Reinstalling MacOS' field, it will offer you Ventura. If you only hold down 'Command + R,' the system takes you to an older recovery setup offering older OS like High Sierra, which Apple no longer supports. That's why you get the message: 'Recovery Server Could Not Be Contacted.' So all that changing the time stuff won't help. Good luck 😊

Just wondering what the hell it’s doing when “recovering from internet”, supposedly downlading the damn os !!!… then no way to reinstall. Let’s just call it “apple’s planned obsolescence” on purpose!! Come on! Date? Server? My own conbexion? All bullshit! Make a usb bootable?? Good luck to find the installer if old version !
Oh and some will tell you “restart and it will install”…. Good luck again, in my case i was welcomed with a “this version of macOS High-Sierra is corrupted”
