And this is why there is no end to bullying, teachers don't protect the victims ,the victims get penalised for defending themselves,
100% true, teachers need to believe and pursue any bullying accusations asap. But on the other side we need to change our culture, there is no reason someone should feel ashamed about being in pain or their love one (her mom) being in pain, we should be able go speak about that and support each other. Holding stuff in and taking out on others shouldn't ever need to happen.

I stood up to bullying, then got detention for it. Teachers didn't do squat 20 years ago and, apparently, it's still happening. I hope my kids are never bullies or victims of bullying.
Everly feels no remorse or guilt for bullying Charlotte. She is just afraid that her mom might find out so she backs off. There's a difference between actually realizing that you crossed the line and saying you went too far because adults have been involved.
Exactly! She is basically only afraid of consequences for herself. That's why I wouldn't feel bad if she got karma and worse.

No one really bats an eye on it, but Jax seeing his friend being beaten to a pulp and laughing about it instead of trying to deescalte the situation is a sign of what kind of person he really is.
This was depressing to watch. But also realistic about the facts of life. Anyway "Weirdos" touched my heart, "Weirdos" touched my soul. Really good job!

I hate schools like these. In Italy I was bullied for being different from the others because I have autism and they excluded me and judged me behind for being shy and also because I had the support teacher. It was humiliating and the worst thing was that teachers didn't do anything about that😭

So, there's no way to know who is telling the truth... gee, how about you ask the whole school about who makes poor Charlotte's life hell? Bullying in the US is a whole new level and I feel like there's not enough supports for those who are bullied and too much praise for those who do the bullying.

This is such a great web series! And shows just how bad bullying can make a person be, regardless who is involved in it. I had a so called friend in grade school bully me. And the popular kids did as well. I did nothing to them in return. Wished I had stood up to them but couldn't.

I really like this series, I didn't think I'd get so invested, but I am! However I am waiting for us to dive into Charlotte's pain a little deeper. So far I've seen Everly have numerous breakdowns and I know we should empathize with her, but it's almost too much to the point where she's now the victim and Charlotte "just doesn't understand her bully". I hope Charlotte get's justice and a happy ending!🙏🏽
Unfortunately she forgave her for no reasons with Everly who deserved to be mistreated by that guy

I love this series too but I could never be best friends with somebody who acts so disgusting it takes one disgusting person to be with another disgusting person. And the teachers the adults they're so disgusting they gave up many many years ago in my opinion I'm 46 years old. I literally had teachers watch me get in trouble and I had the unfortunate experience of watching with teachers as other kids were in trouble at schools I went to they never stood up for us the only time a punishment was handed out or even considered as if it was a big fight or a crowd saw otherwise just like an almost every school at least a public school in America they just close their eyes to it. I feel like more than anything the adults and the teachers need to be watching this series with the kids. Also and like I said I'm 46 and I'm loving it LOL LOL. Much love to all of you especially those who ever experience pain from those that are supposed to be their people.

While this is what I'd expect for my bullies to happen, I'm the clumsy one who gets choked or something wierd happens to, and they come and save the day for me(sometimes) and earn those brownie points. Such stories are a fiction of my imagination in soo many ways. Though it might bite back on them someday ( years probably), it leaves you with a wound that's really deep.

About the mum thing I cried every time it was mentioned.
This is why you never suffer in slience. If Charlotte didn't want to tell the principal, she could have at least told a Guidance Counselor. So when they got in trouble, there could have been some record of the bullying.
