- NYC 2020 Is Finally Over. The end of an era. As you know, this crazy covid-19 pandemic has hit the world hard. But it's affected NYC horribly. So naturally as an artist I expressed how I felt and what I saw via video. I am an EV rider recounting my experience in NYC in 2020. What a rewind moment! Here's to hoping 2021 is a far better year for NCY and the rest of the world. Many people were affected by this video back in March, so I'm re-relasing it. Please enjoy.

Here's an idea for a radical innovation.
Simulated Invisibility.
The idea is this.
Back in 2015, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) developed a massive version of an inkjet printing system to enable mass production of large screen and flexible OLED displays, dramatically reducing costs.
It addressed many of the difficulties, problems, contamination, defects, manufacturing issues and costs of producing OLED screens that made them so much more expensive than LCD and LED screens.
The OLED semi conducting film is incredibly thin, approximately 100 nanometers, high resolution, very low power consumption, can be coated onto flexible plastic substrates.
Imagine the sides of an EUC are OLED screens, with a protective clear coating to protect it from rain, dust, dirt, scratches, damage, friction from legs, etc.
A 360 video camera, or two video cameras mounted on the left and right side.
The left side OLED screen displays what is captured on the right facing camera, and vice versa for the other side.
To a person standing on the side as you ride past, it would give the impression of invisibility as his view would be of the scenery behind the EUC.
The EUC would appear to be invisible.
Conventional camouflage is static, unchanging, and it needs to similar to the background.
It also doesn't work well if the object is moving, and if the background is also changing.
A mirror finish on the side of an EUC could give an impression of invisibility by reflecting the foreground dynamically, but it would not be as effective.
Might not be very practical, but it would be kinda cool.
