- Tim Southwell talks to the legend, Doug Sanders who gives us an insight into his incredible lift story. From partying with the Rat Pack to his incredible collection of memorabilia such as the gloves of the astronauts who walked on the moon!! This documentary is well worth the watch, one of the most interesting golfers.
Doug Sanders is my great uncle. Definitely one of the most interesting golfers.
Rest in Peace Mr. Sanders.
Thanks Doug Sanders.
Candid and beautiful interview. Many of us thank the sport of golf in shaping our own upbringing, just as you do. Thank you Doug!
What a fascinating person Doug is. Shame on the interviewer for referring to him as Doug Saunders.
The shoiw is so poor they can';t even get the sound right on one of the greatest men in all of golf.
doug - u sir r a name dropper. we know how great u r doug. okay, we all now know how great doug sanders is. u r the best.
His name is Doug Sanders (not Saunders). Unbelievable that the interviewer couldn’t even pronounce the interviewee’s name correctly!
not one of the greatest men in golf, perhaps a great player but as a man he only thought of himself.
AMEN!!!! HE'S ONE OF THE BIGGEST ASSHOLES I'VE EVER KNOWN!!!
Typical Doug. Me,me, I, I. I know him well and he's a real jerk who treats little people like dirt. AND, he had a hangover when he lost the open on a very short putt. That's the REAL DOUG SANDERS. Kevin Costner play you? Bwahahaha. He pretends to be Christian, but has a penchant for 20 year olds and Christian men don't boast!
I would have to say 98% of guys would put down a few scotch or brandys drinks after missing a real short putt for the British Open. 🙂
I saw him at the 1980 European at Walton Heath in Surrey. He was hung over to hell and cold-topped it off the first.
