I love your dive shots Aaron. I am disabled now but I was a NAUI diver years ago and your fantastic videos Let me live vicariously through your photo lens. Thank you.
Your grace and kindness when considering Madeline's feelings shows just how beautiful you two are together. The film footage is what brings us here. Getting to know the wonderful people you are, (including Will) is why we always come back for more.
Aaron this video was so AWESOME!!! The clarity of the water, the porpoise, the school of spawning fish, the shipwreck dive, the drone footage to REALLY show how huge the wreck is. Though you lost two fish the video was WOW, WOW, WOWSERS!!! We watched it three times!!! Keep filming, we'll keep watching!!!
Aaron, I love your commitment and willingness to share the good with the bad. It takes guts. We all learn so much from your experience. Thank you as always!
Dude in my opinion, I think this might be the best film you’ve made to date. Amazing photography. Loved the silent aerial shots from the drone especially
I’m a huge fan of the brutal honesty. If we only got the successes and wins we would actually get a little bored with it. The struggle to be better is the best part of becoming great at something. Oh, and I love when the big camera comes out, those wreck shots were amazing!
I watch a lot of other similar videos with various sportsman and divers of different levels of skill & experience, but your videos, especially your knowledgeable narration of underwater shots, whether you spear something special, or just enjoy nature as you obviously do, are so enjoyable, they far surpass any other videos online. It is like going to the movies, you keep us captivated with you time fishing, boating, cooking, or even feeding your cat. And your fiancee is a great straight man on your side verifying your experiences...A big thanks from another Floridian who only wishes I could be onboard with you one day!
Man, those conditions were something to behold, even over a computer screen. Thanks as always. I love your positive attitude following those less than ideal shots and the way you handled it. That is something we can all aspire towards. Also, I remember when you did your video on how you ended up owning a home in Key West, how Madeleine was the one who had the positive attitude and stated she was going to the open house even though you thought it was impossible. What I like is how you both take turns being the positive one. It's such a good lesson on how we all need to be the encouraging one at different times. Thanks for keeping it real!
YAY! Been a fantastic week down there in the water. Daily, I look at dive reports for Key Largo... I am just a dreamer in NC. 50, 70, 100ft of vis around molasses. Just jealous. Hi Madeline! (Sp-sorry!)
Incredible footage of a bluebird day. Awesome stuff, wish we had a day like that when I was in marathon last week! As an archery hunter I understand that feeling of making a less then ideal shot, eventually happens to us all. Don’t beat yourself up too much!
Thank you for your honesty and the breakdown of your decisions. This is the content that I come here for. Great video even if the results were not as expected. This is part of the sport and hopefully everyone learns from it. Love your videos!
Thank you for always keeping it real. Showing the good and the bad. This is my favorite channel on UA-cam, im happy you can do what you love and we get to come along for the ride.
You are not kidding, what a crystal clear water day. Gotta love those. I really admire how you harvest what you want only to eat and not filling up your freezer. Very commendable. Keep those awesome videos coming can't wait to see your new gheenoe specs
Beautiful day is exactly what I would call it! Thanks for diving me wreck. I've been waiting for a video like this one. Glad you got to bring your fiance to see such a beautiful day on the water. Don't beat yourself up over missed shots. We all expect it now and then, nobody is perfect. You're humane and I can see you care about and have passion for what you do. This is one of the reasons I follow the channel. You guys got to have a slicker with crystal clear water and fish to take home. I could feel the gratitude in your voice. Enjoy your time home and as always be safe.
We can’t be perfect all of the time, so to include your bad shots in your videos just proves once again how such a genuine, honest man you are Aaron and that you are just keep it all real.
That was some unbelievably beautiful footage KWW! Some of the best I've seen on your channel around the Key West area, so clear, so many fish! Really appreciate you showing the great shots and not-so-great shots! And for immediately letting Paddlin Madeleine that it wasn't her fault, it was yours. You're the real deal!
You guys are so Amazing the footage is so Beautiful I absolutely love the ocean and all the different Fish so incredible thank you so much for sharing your Videos
This is why you have so many followers - integrity, Aaron. Again, love the videos but moreso the honesty of your editing...the good with the bad. Well done + great luck with your new ventures. Looking forward to following along.
Your honesty is fantastic. Your “keeping it real” is worthy of admiration and respect. Thank you for your wisdom and willingness to share. We learn a great deal from all of your stone shots as well as the few that were meant to swim another day! Bravo, Cheers.
Such GREAT footage! Love the clarity, the wreak, and it was nice to see both of you enjoy such a beauty of a day. Appreciate you keeping the raw footage, keeps it real..
Great video Aaron! Always great to see Madeleine with you. You got some beautiful fish today and it’s too bad it ended on a sour note, but that’s this awesome thing we call life. And there’s always another day to thrive again. Thanks for sharing!
This is where my husband wants to visit. Well... He got sick and now, we're watching every minute. He wanted to go to Maui and now... Growing up in Alameda CA and now in Colorado, he misses the thing he loves most and that was that ocean. How blessed we were back then... And still are.😊
It’s just how it is sometimes. I’m an archery hunter and I know the feeling. I’ve only lost one deer in my life but I still remember it and how it made me feel.
That's a bummer about the APs, but that footage over the wreck with the Permit is the best damn footage I have ever seen. I mean wow! That was incredible
You really do an amazing job explaining and showing how much patience and accuracy is needed to land a fish! Not to mention holding your breath all that time in 40 plus feet of water.. truly amazing and awesome footage around the wrecks and reefs. Gotta love the Florida Keys! Thanks for sharing an amazing day!
@@KeyWestWaterman I can't wait for you to remove my comment about Madeline's carelessness, that verged on recklessness. Lack of attention to detail can be a killer out there. Situational awareness is of paramount importance.

OMG Aaron, what a video! Amazing photography. I loved when you said "It's full blown Bahamas water". I am Bahamian too (and Peruvian) and I know what you were talking about. That crystal glass water never ceases to amaze. Too bad for the APs but "terrible" is a word that could never be used ro describe ANY part of this amazing video. Wow. More.more.more!
Incredible underwater/drone footage of the wreck and school of permit. It reminds me of watching Jacques Cousteau when I was younger. Funny you were talking about African Pompano. We went fishing Sunday and my friend caught an AP but it was too small. We fished for less than an hour before it got too rough fishing off of our PWC's. Bummer those 2 got off. Still looked like a great day on the water!
What an amazing day. That's awesome that you can share what you love to do with your partner. I recently got my wife into shore diving in south Florida. Good times.
At 1:27 even I could hear... Oh My God...one of my favorite channels Aaron cant wait for you episodes to drop will you be doing a series on the new Genooe build?
Anyone who says they hit a grand slam every at bat is a liar and no one likes a liar. Your humility is refreshing and the way you treat your lady is something to look at as a good way to be. Keep being you, Aaron. Many thanks for the upload. I’ve been in school and out of the water for too long and seeing that water color made me miss my favorite place on earth, The Bahamas. I miss it so much I could cry!
Watching some older vids. when you were spearfishing your back yard. You asked if anyone new how to get rid of flies well I live in south Louisiana and used to work at a dairy farm for a while, fiest at the dairy we had those sticky strips you get from most feed and seed stores. you hang them up then pull the ribbon out. We had literally thousands of flies stuck to them, second it seems to work around here take a gallon ziplock bag fill about half full or a little more with water use push pins to hang it a at the edge of your deck. Not sure but I think the light shining through screws with them. Good luck keep the videos coming.
I really enjoy your videos. I’m a Florida native from Tampa Bay but now live up in the panhandle , big bend area. Been salt water fishing since I could remember. Really want to get into Spearfishing. Keep them videos coming. I look forward to them!
What an awesome video. What a way to keep it real. Not many that are humble enough to publish the mistakes, but it real life in real time. Good show sir! Was wondering if you had any info on the wreck y'all dove on?
Really enjoyed the vid. I have one heck of a learning curve. Water was crazy clear. Seeing all those permit made me want to be on the flats with a fly rod in hand.
kinda funny but at 16:40 when I first saw this shot I thought, Damn that's pretty deep. Then I realized that was a drone shot. Always good to be able to laugh at yourself.
This is what puts you in the elite level my friend. Jacques Cousteau stuff brother. You got the vis and marine life hardley ever filmed in that quality. The drone stuff with the permit swirling freaking great. Congrats brother> in one drone view You captured multiple species ie big shark, cudda goliath grouper, permit and a human being (funny). I think I dove that wreak in the early 70's. In those days it was partially out of water on low tide. Loved all of it !! Made my day.😃

@@KeyWestWaterman do you ever chum or burley when spear diving to bring the fish to you, or does it just seem to bring in the sharks? Divers off Nauru chum to spear tuna/wahoo/sails/marlin etc
Great work y'all. Sometimes I've noticed that if I just lie motionless in the bottom the fish will actually start gathering around me. Beautiful water. I miss living in the Keys big time.
Man I wish you would do a video or maybe like a series during the weeks between your main videos on some free diving/spear fishing tips in terms of the mechanics of how you approach diving. I’ve been watching for years and heard you say things like you aren’t an instructor and all that but you are extremely good. I’d like to hear your mindset on breath ups and just how you approach spearfishing and freediving mentally. I can hold my Breath for 2.5 minutes static but I cannot get myself to stay under 30 feet deep for more than 30 seconds and I’m certain it’s just mental. I would love some insight from somebody as successful as you! Love the videos man! Can’t get enough of them.
I'd def like to do more videos on that, they are on the list for sure. life is tricky life that. never enough time! hopefully will get to them one day. I really appreciate the reminder and feedback!
Hey Man! Water looks Crystal Clear We don`t ever see Water like that in NYC, Huge Mangroves and just a Beautiful Video, Come On Man! that was not Terrible it was just Fantastic!!

I think we call them(mangrove snapper)red bass in the pacific.
I've heard them called several different things, love hearing the different names.
@@KeyWestWaterman do you ever chum or burley when spear diving to bring the fish to you, or does it just seem to bring in the sharks? Divers off Nauru chum to spear tuna/wahoo/sails/marlin etc
WOW.......That's some seriously amazing camera footage and cinemaphotography Aaron.
glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome shots of the permit. Absolutely gorgeous. Great video.
glad you enjoyed it!
Great work y'all. Sometimes I've noticed that if I just lie motionless in the bottom the fish will actually start gathering around me. Beautiful water. I miss living in the Keys big time.
My mondays always end on a good note, with dinner theatre of key west waterman.
Great video once again.
haha love to hear it!
Becoming quite the cinemaphotgrapher of late. Outstanding footage. Glad you and your mate got to share all that with us, warts and diamonds.
really starting to enjoy it!
I can hold my
Breath for 2.5 minutes static but I cannot get myself to stay under 30 feet deep for more than 30 seconds and I’m certain it’s just mental. I would love some insight from somebody as successful as you! Love the videos man! Can’t get enough of them.
I'd def like to do more videos on that, they are on the list for sure. life is tricky life that. never enough time! hopefully will get to them one day. I really appreciate the reminder and feedback!
@@KeyWestWaterman no matter what still dig your content man! Keep it up!
You are the snapper master😂😂😂great content man just always look forward to Mondays to see a new episode...👍👍👍

Incredible footage! Ominous to see the sharks /cudas lurking in the background! Thanks for sharing!
they are never far off
Great shot of that ship wreck with the fish swimming around. Just gorgeous

No matter what’s happens with the 2 shots on the AP it’s a great day. Even more special when your love one is there to experience it with you makes it more romantic.
couldnt agree more!
Beautiful water! I'm not a diver but can see clearly why others love to dive.
there is nothing like it for me!
Such an awesome video!! Especially how you show things don’t always workout.
I do my best to keep it real 🙏
