Good one Shylor! I'd forgotten, but when I read your comment I suddenly remembered wondering why everyone in the castle during the Battle of Hogwarts didn't instantly drop dead once the Mandrakes started screaming! :O

21:20 In Harry's first year, Fred and George use a mandrake seedling as a practical joke in the corridors.
Really ok
“Which year are Harry and his friends taught about non verbal spells”....pause.....
Ben: “Did you just know it right away?”.
Jay: ”Mmhmm... (pause)....I’ll tell you non verbally” 😂
I laughed out loud like a goof
It was, but I love dad jokes
@supercarlinbrothers I believe they do grow mandrakes every year. In book seven they also were growing them. During the battle of hogwarts either Neville or professor sprout were throwing them at the death eaters.
Good one Shylor! I'd forgotten, but when I read your comment I suddenly remembered wondering why everyone in the castle during the Battle of Hogwarts didn't instantly drop dead once the Mandrakes started screaming! :O
I thought so, too, but Dumbledore says in book 2 sth along the lines of "Prof Sprout managed to grow some Mandrakes this year" - so maybe it's not every year, but recurring. 😊
14:33 i cannot believe ben wrote “smol”
33:45 can't believe they both wrote "innef(f)ective" 😅
ben: mak it smol
I just realized that they have RIDIKULUSLY similar handwriting!!
I’m sorry
For the pun and butchering the spelling
I mean they are siblings, me and my sister have similar handwriting
It's fine, I honestly like your HANDiwork. But I have BEN the master of puns and you must oJAY! Sorry for the puns, I just have to SLITHERYN some good jokes!
Brett B 😂
@@belmoon01 thanks I am glad I have someone hufflepuffing out a laugh
lol

I knew the non-verbal spells one because I knew that it was what lead to the best line in the series: "There's no need to call me "sir" Professor."
Also Harry successfully does it for (i think) the first time topping up the drinks in Hagrid's shack for Aragog's wake, so it had to be when Slughorn was there. That's how I remembered it, anyway.
I just remembered it because they had already started them in Dumbledores Army during year 5
@@mattthomits7890 I don't think that was in the books, just a film only thing unless that is what you meant
@@CMW003 i'm pretty sure it actually was in the book only...... Lol. They never really did non verbal spells in the movies. At least til Hallows
@@mattthomits7890 Really? Because I remember everyone being thrown of guard by being told to do non verbal spells in half blood prince
They've changed the question about what creatures were in Harry's OWL to say 'Harry's third year exam'. Clearly the Warner Brothers watch the Super Carlin Brothers.
I feel like "dating with dementors" would be a weird fan fiction Snape wrote...
OMG yes
Ya know if he didn’t die 1st
@@itsrue7216 yea
Why Snape?
@@Lordmewtwo151 yes
Ben thinking outside the box is just another thing that’s making him a Ravenclaw 🦅
Doshi Dosh You sorted based on the traits you value, not have.
Valuing being correct is just as much a Ravenclaw trait.
so basically we all agree that either way he's Ravenclaw (like me, we're a great house!)
Yess! Welcome Ben😊
Yessss! Ravenclaw is the best!
YES GO RAVENCLAW
Dating with Dementors: the date you hope doesn't end with a kiss
Also, I finally beat J. 21!
The only date Umbrige Wormtail and Lockhart deserve
Seeing your answers on screen and then watching your faces while you second guess yourselves is hilarious! I love these!
Reducio is the "make it smol" spell.
That's what Harry says in that Deathly Hallows scene 15:30
Joshua Strand my favorite scene, because as soon as Harry reduces the flame, Hermione asks from the other room what's going on and they both look SO GUILTY and say "Nothing!"
You know what makes me mad? Harry and Ron constantly complain about getting a foot long essay for homework. A foot is 12 inches long. A standard sheet of paper is 11.5 inches long. They basically just have to write a single sheet of paper essay.
Have you any idea how hard that is to do for 12 classes.
@@toshiroyamada2443 do they do 12 classes at a time? I guess I just assumed it was like how my school does classes (semester rotations)
pssst don't orientation lock the screen so you can just flip it
why did the image spin around 360°?

Rilian Lunsford that what it sometimes does when changing the screen

It wasn't orientation lock, they just spun it too far
Haha,
J's name 'plate' is blue but he's wearing green
Ben's name 'plate' is green but he's wearing blue
You made me notice that and now is bothering me too 😀
I actually quite like it. It’s a checkered pattern
J is a Slytherin and Ben is a Ravenclaw so that also bothers me
@@skylark8575 I thought they were both slytherin
MewingWinows 2002 they retook the house quiz and Ben got Ravenclaw. You could probably find it if you search
That feeling when you realize they gave away the answer in the title card...

Prof. Sprout: Oh, Longbottom's been neglecting his earmuffs.
Seamus Finnigan: No, ma'am, he's just fainted.
Prof. Sprout: (Sighs) Yes, well, just leave him there.
✨Neglect✨
This is going to be cool! By the way SuperCarlinBrothers, do you know that there is a Fred and George Weasley April 1st quiz?
I'd score 100% if the test was how well can you answer like Ben? 17/17
Answers are Susanne and voldemort
Well, I'm not passing MY OWLs... Gotta love that Harry gets an O on his for DADA and yet only uses like, 3 spells.
He knows more than that, he learnt a lot for the twiwizard, plus you see him teaching them to the DA
he got the O because he could produce a corporeal patrons on the practical. it shocked/super duper impressed the tester
“Same team, except totally against each other.” 26:54
He just threw some solid logic on us
Factasticfox that’s 100% how siblings work
OMG!!! I was missing your HP videos as well as the J vs Ben series!!!
Thank You :)
Will you please do a Ranking The Top 10 Most Powerful Wizards?
@Kaden Goldman Ikr!!! I have about 5 but ranking them is HARD!!!
Well there Merlin, Albus Dumbledore, Harry Potter, Tom Riddle and Gellbert Grindelwald just to name a few and weirdly most are half blood (i believe merlin was half blood due to the legends that he was the devil son of a mortal women just replaced devil with wizard and mortal with muggle)
@@lucifersdevilishdetails. I don't think Merlin should count...He was a very powerful wizard no doubt but he wasn't alive during the books event and if you count them then there's the founders of Hogwarts and so many more! I think it should only be the ones who were once alive during the book.
@Kaden Goldman I have Dumbledore, Voldemort, Grindelwald, Harry, Snape, McGonagall (not in order)
Jannatul Shoilee yeah That would be a better thought and good point putting the founder they when right over my head when thinking of powerful wizards
Dating a Demiguise is when you’re dating someone n then they ghost you (go invisible on you) 😂😕
Certainly feels like that
You guys should sort Marvel characters into Hogwarts houses ahead of Endgame!!
I second that! Iron Man for Hufflepuff and Captain America for Gryffindor!
David Ray I say cap for slytherin!
@@josiemac7807 Nah, he's way too nice. He's a war veteran!
David Ray yeah but he lied on his enlistment forms and did anything he had to to get into the army, as well as not telling Tony about Bucky and his parents. There’s no rule that slytherins can’t be nice either, I just think it’s a great example of a good slytherin
Cap’s a Gryffindor hands down,
39:17 1941??? I’m pretty sure that says 1914 😂😂❤️
Was about to comment the same.
Yesss
In the deathly hallows Ron says 'reducio' not 'reducto'
I love the way Alan Rickman says “Ligilimens” in the movie. It just sounds so cool.
Alan Rickman loves his dramatic pauses!
