- ➡️ FC Barcelona is in "well advanced" talks with its kitsponsor NikeNKE -1.3% over a new "mega-contract" which could be worth up to $1.28 billion (€1.2 billion) according to MARCA, which cited anonymous sources. The two parties have worked together since 1998 yet were recently at loggerheads over their arrangement. President Joan Laporta explained on his podcast last month that Barca tried to cancel its Nike contract renewed in 2018 after believing that the American sportswear giant had breached it.

Something would go wrong with Rodri at Barca or Frankie would go to a club that knocks Barca out of the UCL or like competes in UCL. Frankie is so good when hes given the role he desires. The guy is unpressable, and it would be ridiculous to have to play against him in a team that utilizes him well.

An aging striker that can't press, can't create anything on his own(Lewandowski)..... coupled with a Brazilian that will give it his all, but won't dribble anyone on the counter(Raphinha). I love Raphinha, but you need a guy that will run at players to cause havoc(Nico Williams). But I'm really pissed they're deciding to keep everything in house for Marquez, instead of going outside of the box. They are trying to find a Pep or Enrique, but we have to remember the players that were on both of those teams that won trebles 👀.

Roque needs to have his chances in these last few games to get that XP. Barca needs speed in attack to cause fear in those defenders. And they need to stop trying walk the ball in the back of the net all of the time as well.

Personally if they get funds from this, go with some speed in attack. Get Wirtz, and Nico Williams. There is no fear in attack besides Yamal.... that's part of the reason Barca are so slow. If you want to keep a Gundogen in the midfield put some speed with him and in front of him, because he's getting older too.

on paper Rodri is the perfect signing but he'll cost the same amount as a star attacker like Nico Williams and have less of an impact on the game. Also hes older, and when you watch for example Rodri vs Madrid it's not like he was doing anything that impressive. Im not of the opinion that you should drop big bucks on a CDM. It's one of those positions that if you get blessed with a good one for cheap then you ride with him until the wheels fall off. Otherwise play it safe
