Thank you! I'm thoroughly enjoying the DLC. It can be rough, but my suggestions to be prepared are: 60 Vigor/Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman/elemental resistance talisman for certain fights or encounters/level 150 with a maxed weapon. Otherwise, I highly recommend EXPLORING the surrounds, and looking at your map for landmarks. Exploration will net you Scadutree fragments which in turn increase your damage output and damage negation. The fragments are vital to the DLC progression.
