    One thing I love about this channel is that I go into these Batman videos with the intention of learning a cool nerdy fact about my favorite hero & leave with knowledge of real life science & an inspirational message I needed.

    The core lesson I learned from Batman and other fictional heroes is that a man is capable of anything with an idea and strong discipline

    I believe almost anyone can continue to grow and learn if they choose to, but I don't believe in stoicism or "bootstraps mentality" sometimes real life just does hold certain people back... it's dependent on alot of factors

      Batman was also born rich to a genius surgeon father, a pretty big build and a genius IQ. Being born a big rich naturally smart guy helps, even though he trains a lot.

      My brain always finds the contradictions in phrases, you can't always push past certain limits, especially by will alone. You physically can't get as big as a Mr. Olympia winner like Jay Cutler without taking steroids, you can't take that many steriods and live till 105, you can't be that size and also a successful Ultra-Runner.
      Plenty of pure physical limits, but you can improve past your parent station through hard work, luck, will power, smart decisions, etc.

      But no matter what holds them back they can overcome it somehow.

    I'd say Batman's only real power isn't "money, it's the power to not make excuses.
    I knew a woman who said she was told to study in order to improve her life, and instead of finding ways to do so, she made excuse after excuse as to why she couldnt.

    My theory as to why over the many years, people overwhelmingly resonate with Batman's world more than Superman or any other comic IP, is these characters both the hero and the villain are experts and look at how many PhDs are in the rogues gallery: Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy, Scarecrow, Dr Strange, Hush and Batman must have several PhD in various concentrations.

    If he only kept training till he was bald, 100 push-ups, 100 pull-ups, 100 squats and a 10 KM run every single day then he'd be truly super. We'd have Saitama Wayne, I wonder if such kind of universe exists a Batman with the powers of Saitama, a one punch batman😂😂😂

    I think one big flaw of his character writing is the fact that he can move the way he does and fight ppl like killer kroc because of hos pure will and discipline and work ethic. I think the writers should have explained how his suit is made of strong metal (ex vibranium from marvel) plus an exoskeleton in hos suit that allows him to move like a super human. It makes it more realistic.
    Look at iron man in marvel. His character writing makes sense cuz his suit is the crutch. His suit allows him to do watever.

    Another character who was a Batman archetype was Doc Savage look him up Doc premiered before Batman 1931 for Doc. Another is the original Nick Carter character from the latter half of the 19th and early 20th century His skilled teammates and adversaries would make Batman or Doc Savage proud.

    • @wildcard5269
      @wildcard5269 6 місяців тому +1

      The key thing to his NON limitation is the Mental
      Everything else is secondary
      Ex.
      Batman pushes himself, it takes mental
      Batman takes a blow from superhumans and survives
      Also mental
      He can hold his breath for an extremely long time, As in a meditative state
      Mental again
      Conclusion;
      Get your mind Right to handle Any&All task that comes your way

    Big oooof! If you ever intend to do a shoulder press. Never, ever allow the bar to pass behind your head.
