I know, very late! Although I had to take a break, I decided to cut out other ideas I wanted to try due to time constraints. For example, for Eyja's segment, I wanted to do an intro where my Doctor communicates to her via sign language. So this video may not be on par with the others in terms of quality. Nevertheless, I hope this video suffices enough.
I feel like Swire is the type of Rich Girl who helps poor people not because she wanted to help from the bottom of her heart but to flex her riches. Idk her en voice gives me that kind of impression
3:476:29 Rawr XD Emma did not disappoint here. As much as Sora Tokui's performance is iconic, I just can't help but love Emma's take on the character. It still amazes me that she went from roles like Amiya and Durin to our favorite smug, sassy tiger. And Eyja, while not *my* personal favorite, I do see that Hollie Taylor was able to improve upon her last outing as Eyja. While her original take on Eyja sounded a bit too close to that of Myrtle, it seems she was able to put a unique spin on her alter to show her growth and maturity, differentiating it from her prior role, while still being familiar. Hats off to the VAs, here! Side Note: I like the way you transitioned into Swire's English showcase, with the whole "let me put it in a language you can understand". Lol.
Swire: I pass the LGD Physical Exams - in high heels. Me: Ahh no wonder your thigh, legs, and feet are thick. They're swollen. Jokes aside, Swire Alter is quickly becoming my favorite for Bridge/Lobby duty ❤.
Emma, as always, slayin as Rich girl Swire again. Her sassiness portrayed is unfathomably great. Especially her "rawr", definitely up-to-par with "gao". Did you know that this is her 5th role? Eyja's EN is very calm and caring, Hollie did well to sound her grown up yet soft. Underrated imo because of JP Voice. (I got her by accident instead of Ch'en Holiday) Btw, keep goin with the animations of yours, really add personality!😉
Thanks! I wish I had more time to make something for Eyja's segment too. But I've been trying to get more creative with the dialogue. I already have a WIP for Typhon's possible video. Once done, I need to figure out what exactly I could animate
Ngl I was half hoping Swire would be the second Vtuber during the stresm and then it would just be Emma talking to herself, since she voices both Amiya and Swire XD
Here's what I have to say: Swire: You can clearly identify that she is a high class person from the way she speaks, but she is a different kind of rich person that knows what they're doing and thus results in a very lax yet keen eyed person as reflected in the event. The volume of lines are very audible and the delivery is nice. Overall: Good Eyjafjalla: I guess slowly going deaf does things to a person, like speaking slowly and in a hushed tone. Her low volume is actually nice in a noncombat area like the base or lobby, however... In a game like Arknights where there is so much shit going on, I swear I think I can't hear her. They should've increase the volume a little bit y'know? Overall: Good delivery, weird volume yet somehow consistent
Yeah there's other Ops whos English voices suffer from lower volume like Corroserum and Shalem. I remember, when I used them in gameplay videos, I actually had to raise the volume when I used their skills so people would actually be able to hear them.
Hollie Taylor actually got Mousse's name right this time around, I wonder if the voice director is willing to fix that one Myrtle voiceline. Then again, the Kazimierzian names were never fixed.
