Loved our stay at the Tiny House! Your design choices and attention to detail really made everything convenient and very comfortable and Beautiful!! So proud of all the hard work you have put into this project!!!
How do you like the Smartwings blinds? I have them also through out my house. Their battery life is pretty significant. When I found them on Amazon I was skeptical at first but I have to say I was actually surprised. I only wish the bottom bar was white like the top as opposed to the silver color.
I'm impressed! I love it when there is a deadline...i.e. parents arrival...that gets the adrenaline pumping and projects get knocked out! And you did not sacrifice quality work! Nice job.
I really don’t remember what brought me to this channel by damn am I happy it did. Love watching this kinda stuff. Looks like it really came together well!
My husband and I are in the process of building a new 20x25 tv room/diningroom on our house. We started 1 1/2 years ago and have about 6 months to go. (We are doing everything ourselves). At the beginning of the project I was looking into 84 inch ceiling fans. I found Big Ass fans and picked out a nice one. We liked that they were made in America. The fan was around $1500. OK it was a splurge but we like USA made products. Recently I checked the website to see if it was still available and it was- at almost double the price. I could barely do $1500 but $2900 is out of reach!
I have the homekit Ikea blinds, and like them. Don't love them, just like them haha. Would love to hear a follow up on SmartWings in like 6 months to see how they are holding up. For example, how reliable are they? I have one ikea blind that only likes to work 80% of the time. Loving the customizable widths, roller direction, optional valance, and various opacities of fabric options SmartWings has on the site. It just comes down to are they good or not haha
Maybe you’ve answered this somewhere else, but how do cost compare with this and something like the shed to house project the Crocker channel did a couple years ago as they appear somewhat similar in size?
Pro-tip when painting doors: Install 1 screw at the center of the door at one end of the door and 2 screws on the other end (top or bottom) and support the door on 2 sawhorses using the screws. This way you can hit both sides of the door in one pass by rotating the door using the 1 screw as a pivot point. For heavier doors, use 4 screws, but have help available to rotate the door.
Just an idea why not make from the walls boards an battens i would do the battens in the grey colour of your doors...it hides the gaps and makes the room and the doors univied
Watching this a a German moving to the US within 2-3 months, I am always wondering about those doors, windows and the electric outlets. 1. I know you mentioned these doors are not a good quality but I have NEVER seen any good doors. First of all why does the doors not have sealings? Here EVERY door has this. They have rubber sealings so they close smoothly, not "wood on wood" and to prevent noise going through. 2. The windows are also a desaster. WHY the open to the outside? And they are so thin and poor quality.... 3. Aren't the outlets available in matching colors? In your example in brown? Are they only available in white? Also I always see the same style. Here we have MANY different styles, modern ones, classical ones and so on. Each manufacturer offers about 20-40 different designs.... thanks for answering. Btw. I love your work! You are really doing a good job!
Interior doors in the US aren't generally sealed. I'm not sure why they would be. Exterior doors have seals as you described. Outlets and switches come in a few basic colors like white, black, brown, beige - and you can get hundreds of styles of covers if you want something more unique. I don't typically see a lot of unfinished wood windows like this. But windows do come in a variety of materials - vinyl, fiberglass, wood, aluminum.
Like the story but it's very underwhelming. The blinds are great, but the re-chargeable batteries is a big negative. The placement of the AC head unit where it is is of very poor placement and highly ineficient when it comes to heating and cooling. The placement of a "Utility Cupboard" inside a bedroom wardrobe that's exposed to the visitors is another poorly planned decision. This should be in a seperate cupboard away from view. Basically, lots of great ideas that have been very poorly executed.

Awesome, I painted an accent wall in my old place with Sherwin-Williams "Cyberspace" grey, it's a great color.
Wow! Fantastic results, I bet your family loved it as well. Craftsmanship beyond commitments.

In the UK those connectors are call "choc block" as in chocolate block!
Great video. Where do you find all the time to balance this project, family life and work life!?
Did you show the water heater install in any more detail? Interested to see how well it works and what electric it needs and any maintaining. Thanks!

So nice! 👍
yoh, that tankless water heater with the bent grey pipes would work on my OCD. Surely that can made to look a lot neater than that?
Is there a way to sync the blinds to open at same time? Considering them
Houee looks fantastic. Great attention to detail
Sehr cool und fast fertig!👍
Looks good. Nice Finnegan shirt!
How are the Ikea blind in the main house? I like the idea of a smart blind system, I just don't know how well they'd work.
When are you going to post a video about your shop renovation it’s been so long?

Where did you get that tv/media console from?
Nicely done! The Not So tiny House looks awesome, inside and out!
Love that Wu'd Work T...

Absolutely brilliant - looking really good 👍
Where's the Crafted Workshop discount code for the Smartwings? :D
Was that Ray from Perkins Brothers making a cameo in there?
Why didnt you use drywall? it looks so much nicer.
Excelente video 👍 saludos desde chile 👊💯🙏
I have nothing to say really, but I appreciate your content, and wish to help with the yt-algorithms.
WOOO!

Yass! 👌
Stay safe.
Those guys work for the Perkins bros and you?
is there a bathroom situation in there? flush toilet? Composting toilet?
How long has this project actually been?
About a year and a half at this point!
@@craftedworkshop the end is near! Lol
For you parents? No problem! You can get it done. For the in-laws? Now that may take a few more years. 😁
Nice Wu-Tang shirt
Blinds are ridiculously expensive for what they are. They should be about $15 not $200.
Hai verniciato di nero la base della ventola ed hai lasciato le placche della luce bianche ... non c'erano nere ????
That’s not a ceiling fan. It’s a light fixture.
The flooring color totally destroyed the look of the wall panels.
