Great review! I bought this dry suit from Don at the end of Gauley season and have been using it every weekend since then. I have not had any leaks, it keeps me warm and dry. I really like the material and cut. Very comfortable and not restrictive. The price on this suit and their dry tops is great as well. Don is killing it with Highwater Hobbies, his store is great!
Nice. Thanks for the review. I've seen their Drytop online, and thought it looked good. Your review helped to bring the Drysuit to life. I'm all about lighter gear, so I'm interested in Hiko.
Great video, Wade! This video got me really interested in this dry suit however Hiko has been completely unresponsive via email and WhatsApp when I sent them sizing questions. Very disappointing.
Yeah buddy reach out to Don at highwater hobbies he imported them he will be able to help you however. I left links in the description. Tell him I sent you.
Wade Great review! I would like to ask if there was any experience of removing Aquasure glue from the fabric when repairing latex cuffs? How can I remove it??
+1 on the review !! Appreciate your style & beta. Curious about the following... Are the gaskets just glued/taped, or are they stitched in? (e.g. will they be easy to replace). What has been your experience with the velcro at the waist/ ankles. Like will that hook/loop attachment eventually wear out? Highwater hobbies has demo drysuits for rent? (Sniffing options for an event ;-) ) ~ Mahalos
The gaskets are glued/taped and I would think easily replaced if needed and there no Velcro on the wrist just neoprene and the ankles and waist Velcro is very high quality And as far as demos or rentals you will have your message highwater for that I’m not sure the link is in the description how to get ahold them
Hiko have been using the Odin name since around 2015 at least They make their suits in their own factory and have developed to the current design themselves

Good to hear it’s been great
Hiko is top notch and their customer service is excellent.
I have heard that they really stand behind their products
Do they offer customer services in the US?
@@davids6652 Yes. I have one of their PFDs - I broke a buckle and instead of repairing it - they sent a brand new PFD , before I even sent mine back!
@@davids6652 if you get it from Highwater hobbies he will take care you
@@WadeHarrison oh yes Don at high water is my man. He’s solid.

Great review as always Wade 🤙🏼
Thanks buddy
My guess is the tab is there so that it keeps the zipper aligned. As your closing, it to maximize zipper health.
Hmmm 🤔 you might be correct on that one…
@@WadeHarrison or maybe you can clip on a break away cape
@@mantoraklol😂that’s too perfect
Hiko have some very nice gear, and their customer service is great! Great review...as always ;-)
So far been very impressed with the Hiko brand seem to be another great option for paddlers out there…
I'm from Germany so Hiko isn't far away and Hiko has definetly very high quality for a low price the sprayskirts are great to
@@larsellersdorfer2409 I have seen their gear more here in the USA so far very impressive
Never a fan of front or back zip, always enjoy the mid zip so I never have to have assistance and can use the bathroom easily.
Totally understand that….
good stuff
😎
Is this a knock off of the level 6 Odin? Just curious
Nope. L6 is a front-entry. This one is a bit more like the NRS Jackal.
No it’s nothing like that one and funny the same name but I think Hiko had that Odin name for awhile
Hiko have been using the Odin name since around 2015 at least

The Czechs do their paddling right!
These do seem really well made so I agree with this 😎
all I needed to hear was Czeck you know its good!
For sure!
