I understand the wanting things in front of us. I live in a little apartment, so everything is in my living room in bookshelves. I hung drapes on them so no one sees my mess (LOL) but, anyone that knows me understands. It's a long ways for me to hobble to get to the bedroom, so its easier for me. I still have some things in my room, but this way I have most things right where I need them. I love to hear you talk through your videos. TFS. ((HUGS)) Sherri

A little trick with a new glue stick is to glue the end of the glue stick before you put it on the gun and it will adhere to the used one!! Your projects are all so lovely!

Just saw a few of your tutorials on so many shabby chic ....LOVE THE WAY YOU WORK AND THE THINGS YOU CREATE.....I'M HOOKED....THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR SHARING YOUR MIND....
I just found a small 3 ring binder, 71/2"X 9 1/2", that was my father's. At the moment ,it is covered in something like canvas. Should I too cover it in felt first before adding anything else? Or, I could paint it and allow that old canvas texture to show through a doily? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Joann

Definately paint it then add colour wash, maybe a light brown to age it more, before adding the doilies :) That would look fab! xx
