Hi Richard and Aimee, I really enjoyed watching this video, that machine is a monster, lol. I enjoy watching you both working together along with your daughter. I can tell you, coming from a remote family background, my mom and dad would totally approve of how you do things and your thoughts of how to live off grid like we did. Richard is so layed back and Aimee has enough energy for everyone. What a fun family. Thanks for sharing.
Oh Richard and Aimee thankyou so much, your Alaska living is walking down memory lane for me as child growing up on the farm 70 yrs ago with 6 siblings a mum who used her old treadle sewing machine to make our clothes, and a wood/ coal oven to cook on and in and to keep us warm. It wasn't a lifestyle choice back then ,but rather the way of life before electricity and hot water and indoor bathrooms , not to mention an indoor toilet ; were the normal way of life. Oh , i forgot, no fridge or washing machine !!!! I remember turning the the handle on the old mincer as all our meat was farm grown, pig, sheep cattle chooks . Mother loved to cook and taught us the best fats for everything, esp pastry and cakes. Beef fat aka beef dripping on home made bread with salt& pepper was simply delicious. I laugh at it now as I hear all the drama about eating fats not good for you. My Daddy worked his Town Supply Dairy farms till he was 80yrs old and died of boredom and pneumonia at 85. Animal Fats and raw milk aka straight from the cows, never harmed him or mother and us 7 siblings are all heading into our 70 + yrs. Enjoy all that gloriously nourishing great food and please show us everything you make , I'm so loving memory lane. And that wee daughter of yours gets to have this experience as her life foundation. I just pray you add Jesus to the mix as your Saviour and Lord and I'll die a happy Nan , eventually. 🇦🇺🤗🙏💞👍👌✌️👏🇺🇸
This is so funny, the minute you were talking about how many watts your processor went through we had a power bump here in Salt Lake City and power was out for like a maybe two seconds well when you turned it on. Love the video carry on love you guys

Your machine is really great! My father was a butcher, so I spent many hours grinding meat through the mincing machine.
Your machine is much nicer than the one we bought. Good thing we rarely need to use it. Have a Great week and Thanks for sharing.

Dont forget to put the date on all the freezer food.
Is that boiling eggs in the back?
Is the house finished
Probably never be “done” to most peoples standard
Do you prefer bear fat or pork fat? We love the bear fat for pastries and especially chocolate chip cookies.
Have not gotten a bear yet. Can’t wait to try it on cookies
saw you on my homepage, came to look, liked and connected. I just love Alaska and hope to visit it one day.
