Perfect Timing of the Video, as I got my syntakt today. Played around for about 2 hours with it and am already totally in love. Sounds great and is so immediate and fast to create new stuff (not my first Electron device). Really looking forward to watch what you do with this beast.
Yes you are right. Just noticed when watching the Video that you are setting the delay to 48 instead of to a specific time signature - do you know that you can adjust the time signature by using the func Button while adjusting? Just thought i mention it incase you or somebody else does not know this.
Excellent tutorial. Really interesting how you used the digital bass drum - I personally find that one much more suitable for techno. The analog bass drums sound good but somehow lack body.
thanks, I like them all tbh, it really depend, but here knowing I wanted something more modern sounding, then i choose the digital one... but I dont have any preference tbh
This man is too good for something like a Syntakt. I love Syntakt, and Elektron, but I have to say this. If you compare this "sketch" to what he makes in the "how to" series videos with Ableton, you will notice that Syntakt, and probably all Elektron machines, are too limited to open his full creativity.
It depend the genre, this machine is the best for raw/deep stuff. It’s definitely more limited than ableton for sure, but this is more hands on and fun to create something . But the best is to use best of both world and guess what, that’s exactly what I did to finish this track and you will see it in next week video ☺️
