    Tip , tie the main top swivel on your main line and unwind the rest this keeps the rig taught and stops it doing what it wants (tanglering)😊

    hi buddy with sabiki fishing do you cast and leave until they bite or is it cast and slow retrieve the best way to catch them buddy . many thanks : karl

      @fishingintheukgarywood  3 роки тому

      Hi mate, I usually do it both ways I cast and slowly retrieve and also drop it straight down the pier wall near the bottom and jig them straight up and down slowly until I feel a bite.

    A trick I use with sabikis is I stick the top loop onto my main line put a weight on the other end and it makes them easy untangle cos dear or cheap they ALL come tangled to some degree

    • @leigh161269
      @leigh161269 6 років тому +2

      clip the weight on the end with the clip, drop the weight and they will all come off in order and without any tangles. then just tie your main line to the swivel.

    Put a weight on the end of the rig before u take it off the cardboard and they should just fall out untangled 👍

    Would you use these for bait for fishing around the northeast. And if so what would you expect to catch with this type of bait

      I usually keep them for when I’m fishing away, but they can be used around here for bass, cod, flattys, pollock etc

Black lugg tipped with hermit and a piece of octopus to keep the hook clear, did the job. Not much over 2lb but still fish. Tight lines gary. Looking forward to the next video.

      @@fishingintheukgarywood Well done,what did you get?I've fished the break water at Holy head but got nothing fishing lug on one and going for squid on lures on another :/ it was only the once though.We stay by moelfre and fish off the rocks there mainly(obviously hols isn't all to do with fishing,but do what we can)aside from mackrel bashing which it's famous for you can catch all kinds from codling to launce,wrasse and herring.This coming holiday season I'm gonna try for gar fish on light tackle,it'll make a change from a 15ft rod and a chucking out a 7oz lead.I'm sure they are there.I've been watching this tonight,he's a cracking fella and fisherman,any questions he certainly answers.check this out.he has a vid on cooking em too!

    That was painful to watch lol. Nothing wrong with them, not waste it's how to take them off. A weight on one end and remove them in order. Most packets show you which side to start with (usually weighted side, but I tend to have more luck with the swivel end).
