I was trying to convince my younger wife that the very height of connubial bliss might be best achieved by her going down to the 24 hour shop and buying me a can of diet coke. Alas I have to report abject failure. If anything it reminded me of playing some of those dreadfully complicated rulesets from the 1980's. I used nuclear option A. "I can leave you you know". She replied "Well off you go then". I am not sure that women take us seriously. I recall being terrified of my grandmother who I was not entirely sure hadn't assassinated Kennedy.
