What exactly is Z0? Cryptic definition. Im used to the following convention: M=(Q, Σ, Γ, δ, qstart, F) where Q is a finite set of states, Σ is the input alphabet Γ is the tape alphabet, δ the transition function, qstart the starting state and F the finite set in Q containint all finite states.

Z0 is the initial stack symbol - the symbol that is assumed to be on the stack before we start doing anything. Hope this helps!
