“FreakyT” was THE moment for TiaCorine. As the track cemented its viral allure this past year, her September 2022 album, I Can’t Wait, showcases the breadth of her talent - proving to be a masterclass of potency unbound by genre. The North Carolina singer-rapper’s versatile and genre-bending style is bolstered by her colorful wordplay, off-the-wall visuals and, most of all, her vibrant personality - which shines in her conversation with OGM host Hakeem Rowe.
Speaking on her creative process, Tia always looks to her 7-year-old daughter for advice, revealing that she’s a trustworthy ear for any new track she creates. Not only as the final checkpoint for her, they find ways to connect when Tia is on the road or away from home, playing Roblox with her daughter so she doesn't feel as lonely. It's a balance that Tia seems to so effortlessly accomplish; Imagine navigating your blow-up while caring for your child.
