Dude that place is so good! And it’s like a game when you deposit empty plates! Can’t believe they had one in Dallas! So glad we were able to try it! Everything we had was great!
You're a lucky man, You have 2 of them up there near you. Fort Lee and Jersey City. I am going to make that 1"30" trip one day. Glad they have other things besides Sushi for my wife and son.
I definitely am lucky! I had no idea there was one in Jersey City! I heard they’re gonna be opening on up in Edgewater but not sure when! If you combine the trip with a visit to Mitsuwa and H-Mart it’s totally worth the trip!
Wow, surprised there is Kurazushi there. Nice! One of my favourites is definitely the torched salmon. Some very different items but I do always like to try a bunch of different things. 15 is about my limit too
Yeah I was shocked too! The torched salmon is sooo good! I’ve only been to one in Japan one time, did it look like there was anything we had here that you guys don’t have and visa versa?
Looked like you had a blast trying all that sushi. I know how much you love yaself a bit of sushi !! You must have felt like a kid in a candy store 😋 I love 🧡 that you get so excited seeing and eating the food and its such a cool idea with the returning of the plates etc. Imagine if they had this concept at say a pizza/burger/fried chicken place now that would be dangerous😛 P.s Hope you made the toy as 15 plates in thats an expensive toy !! Haha well done 👍
Yes it was so much fun! I’m so happy they’ve been opening up branches here in the US! I definitely did feel like a kid in a candy store! There was so many different things to choose from and it was all very good quality! That would be super crazy if they had a similar concept with burgers (would probably have to be sliders though) or pizza! Someone should get on that 😂
Haha💡💡 u wanna go into business together !!?💰💲 And unless there is already a restaurant in the states called it i think you have the perfect name ... sliderz
Me 2🤩 obv 60/40 split as you came up with the name 🎉... im off to write up the business proposal as we speak also i better just do some burger eating research at the weekend... i bet shake shack are shaking in their boots ... dreams huh u gotta have em. Take care x
Thank you so much for the compliment! I’m not aware of any other big chain conveyor belt sushi restaurants but I’m sure there are some smaller “mom and pop” conveyor belt sushi restaurants sprinkled throughout the country. I used to go to one just outside of Portland called Sushi Boat. It was also very awesome! They didn’t have the same big selection but the spirit of it was just as nice! They would charge different prices based on the color of the plates.
That’s awesome to know that the experience is consistent across the US! I got a chance to visit one in Dallas recently and it was just as good down there too!
Sushi is one of my favorite foods! I love Otoro the best and Ama Abi if they have it but not usually on belt sushi. We do have Kura Sushi here but I haven’t been there because here in Vegas, we have so many All You Can Eat sushi places which is a better value. Everything looked delicious Jason! 👍🏽
You guys have everything in Vegas 😂 I’m so jealous haha! What’s Ama Abi? Yeah if there’s a good AYCE sushi it would be a better value. I’ve only tried one out here and it was pretty crappy. Plus the conveyor belt concept is fun!
It definitely is a really fun concept. You will find better quality at higher end restaurants but it is by no means bad. I highly recommend giving it a shot :)
The sushi is $3 per plate no matter if you order from the screen or if you take it off the line. The hot food items like ramen and fried rice all have different prices. I believe the ramen is around $8 and I think the fried rice is $4 or $5. There’s also karaage and tempura options as well. All of the desserts are $3 per plate (except the taiyaki with ice cream which is around $5-6 I think).
@@TheWorldAccordingtoJason well I’m no expert but from growing and following the pepper mad man Johnny scoville from chase the heat! The heat in peppers come from the oils and membrane of the pepper, my guess to why seeds are hot is because the oils get on them as well but if you were to wash the seeds and then taste them I do not see how they will still carry heat
Yes it definitely is more expensive than Japan. In Japan at Kura Sushi I remember the price been 100 yen per plate. Unfortunately sushi is much more expensive in the US that it is in a Japan
Love your video this makes me crave sushi. Great job 👏
Thank you so much for the kind words!! I totally understand the feeling! I want to go back here every time I see this video pop up on my channel
Kura Sushi 🍣 is the BEST! Soo much FUN 🎉❤
totally agree! I love this place!!
I loved Kura! It was so much fun! That dragon roll was amazing!
Yea it was so much fun! So glad we were all able to go!
Normally i watch tiny asian women eat but your quality of videos is so high. Keep up the good work.
Thank you so much for the kind words Peter! Glad you enjoy my videos :)
Loved the video! Haven't made it to kura yet but I can't wait 😊👍
Thank you so much for the kind words! If you have a Kura near you I highly recommend going!!

Very nice. I enjoyed your video. Are there other company also running conveyor belt sushi in the US? How do they compare?

You describe the food experience much better than most. Blanket of cream cheese👅 #staycurious
Best video
Haha thank you so much! It was the best way I could describe it hahaha! #staycurious
We had a great experience at kura in Schaumburg IL super fun eating cheesecake with chopsticks great sushi
That’s awesome to know that the experience is consistent across the US! I got a chance to visit one in Dallas recently and it was just as good down there too!
after the 15 plates to get the capsule can you keep eating ? or no
I was unable to fit anything else in haha! It was a struggle to get the 15 in by myself! I started feeling it after 10 plates 😂

@@TheWorldAccordingtoJason AMA Abi is Sweet raw Shrimp! 😋
@@TheWorldAccordingtoJason we even have a conveyor belt Korean BBQ place! Its really good & has quality meats, very tender!
Heard the quality of fish at these places isn't the best but it looks like a fun concept to enjoy with friends/family with some drinks
It definitely is a really fun concept. You will find better quality at higher end restaurants but it is by no means bad. I highly recommend giving it a shot :)

Do you pay per plate or one price all you can eat
You pay per plate. I wish it was all you can eat 😂
The mayo is Kewpie.
The mochi is just like they get it in Japan.
The Japanese do not cut corners.
Very true! Was totally satisfied with this branch!
Nice sushi jason
Thank you so much!
Cannot wait to experience this.....

Some solid choices there!
Seeds don’t carry any heat in peppers that’s a common misconception
I always was told they did. What carries the heat?

Ah ok, that makes sense! Thanks for sharing :)
😆😃
it look more expensive than japan though. 3 dollar for the first one
Yes it definitely is more expensive than Japan. In Japan at Kura Sushi I remember the price been 100 yen per plate. Unfortunately sushi is much more expensive in the US that it is in a Japan
@@TheWorldAccordingtoJason true but I wish that Norway had more of this one. We have one
Hopefully they will expand more over there! Is it more expensive like the US version?
@@TheWorldAccordingtoJason we are expensive here in Norway to it’s about 3-9 dollar a plate
Ah so you also feel the pain! I can’t wait to go back to Japan and enjoy it at much more favorable prices! And better quality :)
