It's just unfair how the show turned after the end of season 8!
I use to think Alan was very unlucky, but in retrospect he has met the most welcoming people. Wealthy too. Not the ignore he fact he actually gets laid. That’s way better than my life.

Do a google search on "Top Twenty Most Dangerous Drugs" and you will find that both weed ranks lower than even Tobacco and Alchohol (And surprisingly Ecstacy and LSD to) I'm pretty sure that the list only looks at physiological and psychological side effects based on ingestion in moderation. The show was two and a half man. It would have had a greater chsnce to survive if instead of bringing Ashton, they brought another little boy, making it Alan, Jake and the little boy, back to two and a half man. There is so much comedy material with thr interactions with a kid. Jake have become older, so he is now dealing with more teenager situations.
He actually was pretty smart in first season. Remember how he tricked the older guy with Charlie while playing poker!
