Very nice! Maybe I shouldn’t watch your channel, it makes me want to buy more boots. Even though it is unlikely that I’ll be buying these, at least anytime soon, it is fun to watch. Thank you!
Cool boots. Bandung will soon become the Mecca for luxury footwear the way these small workshops are changing the industry. I already own 2 boots and 3 shoes and they are fantastic.
What holds them back is the lack of a website and unfortunately they promise times they really can’t deliver on, then go silent or make excuses. I wish they’d learn the critical aspect of customer service - under promise and over deliver
@@Bootlosophy True, they lack organizational skills and customer service and sometimes overwhelm themselves with orders they can't deliver on time. Hopefully they will catch up soon. I had a conversation with the founder of Txture and she said they have already divided the tasks and assigned customer service including billing, invoicing and shipping to a designated employee. Same thing with purchasing materials, quality control etc so the artisans can focus on the production only. She said they didn't expect to receive orders from 34 countries when they started up
Quite different, the JG is dryer with less oily variation. This is more similar to the Crazy Horse you used to get on the Chippewa service boots or some of Thursday’s Rugged and Resilient leathers.
@Bootlosophy - do you have an email contact for Fortis? I dont use Instagram and Im debating ordering the pair that you got - with some slight changes (no speed hooks). Thanks.
Their email is fbootsmaker@gmail.com but they don't always check their email - as a small group working out of what is basically a bicycle shed, they don't have the infrastructure to have a computer onsite, and too busy to check their email regularly. Try and see.
@@Bootlosophy thanks a ton. Long story short, Facebook didnt like what I had posted and triggered a block on my instagram page that I used to get in touch with them the first time.
Very informative. Do you have a contact, FB link, or website to contact Fortis? I cannot locate one. FB has a page but it’s limited to two images and not much else. I would love to see what else they produce. Thanks. Pax Vobiscvm
@@Bootlosophy Fortis has already responded. I will be sending them my measurements soon. Real quick. If you do not mind me asking but how much do you pay for your boot? Again thanks. Pax Vobiscvm
this channel is truly a gem - do not change a thing! your style, taste, videography, editing, insight, and communication is impeccable.
Very very objective. Love this channel.
And the color of leather is fantastic
beautiful pickup Teik!!!!!!!!!! spongey is a good term for the insoles, many of my indonesian boots have the same type of insole in them.
Thanks Dale! It’s an amazing comfy feel!
As a Bandung native this video makes me very happy. Thank you!
