This lecture explains the approach undertaken by the scholars of Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jama'ah in understanding the Deen. Dr Shadee mentions the importance of Hadith (recorded sayings & actions of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ), refuting the notion put forward by the sunnah deniers (Quranioon) that we only use the Qur'an and not the hadith.
He also explains the need to follow the consensus of the scholars (Ijma'). Following the path of the righteous scholars is incumbent upon us all.

What nonsense!! This guy just misrepresented the whole status of the books of Hadiths. People like him make Islam look bad and irrational. What book did Allah and his Rasool (PBUH) gave to Muslim ummah??? Bukhari?? Muslim?? Tirmidhi?? So you give these authors the status of Rasool?? Astaghfirollah!! So you also saying that one cannot understand Quran without the story books written by the men who came two and a half centuries after Rasool Allah?? This guy doesn’t even understand the difference between Hadith and Sunnah.
I have a hunch that there are people in the audience as well who find this shaikh kinda contradicts himself. First he said we need to follow the majority then he go on saying that the minority isn't necessarily wrong. Well, I gotta say he's not necessarily wrong, he just makes the whole message he's trying to deliver confusing.
