Hey Tristan a good video idea would be “how to buy a used car” or something. Like showing us the steps to buying something off marketplace like checking oil etc
Will do thanks for the tip I will do, I have some other videos in the works aswell
Hey good info. Not just for lowered cars but bagged trucks and done right can work for lifted off road trucks as well.
Yes exactly I briefly touched on the lifting as well
Tristian, loved this educational video. Legend.
I'd love you to have a camera crew to catch you doing this full time.
I already knew about why we needed adjustable panhard bars because the 84-87 Civic, Crx and Integra have them.
glad you'll be offering the VL ones on the spool up site, they look stoutly
Wheel alignment will hopefully be minimally off.
Excellent video 📹
Thanks Lloyd, you are awesome for saying that, it’s my dream honestly
@@TURBOTRISTO Tristian I learn some stuff from your video which I'll apply when I'm installing my PHB, thank you.
Big love!
You're working hard to have that reality, you keep rising to the top 🤘
I'll have to come down sometime to be a film crew to catch you in the wild.
Love learning something new every day, thanks
Happy Saturday class haha
More educational video please!
Not gonna lie this is actually cool TBH. Cant wait to see this thing send it on the drag strip. looking forward to it soon
When the engine gets back from the machine shop then it will fly building it for big power
@@TURBOTRISTO Please film everything, like installing the forged piston etc 🥺
dude i certainly will
@@TURBOTRISTO ye
Always a good day when I see a notification from Tristan!
Haha thanks for being in the notification squad mate
Back in the day, before adjustable pan hard bars existed you could get away with redrilling the mounting hole on the body to lift the panhard bar higher up in the body !!!!
that's a pretty cool solution for the issue, you lose exhaust clearance though
my falcon with solid axle has a watts linkage.
nice
G'day. When turboing a VL, if you replace the exhaust with a 3 inch system, apparently you have to put an adjustable pan hard rod in also because the new exhaust hits the original pan hard rod.
Yes That is Also True, Most people Lower their car before they turbo it
Errrr, Falcons are either leaf spring or have a Watts Link. A superior set up.
Unless you lower your Crapadore excessivly the Panhard will not need an adjustment. Though raising the pivot point on the body will help far more than anything else. When a panhard goes through a very small arc the length does not significantly change.. Using heim joints will resolve more sideways than the rubber bushed OEM piece,, though then the brackets will break. Poly bushes are even worse.
Yes,, I have seen it all. And raced a quick Sports Sedan with a Panhard. A Watts would have been superior but a lot more work to set up. The longer the panhard the better.
Though the very short factory one on my 71 Ford Galaxie has about 1/8" of sideways movement in the normal arc of use. I guess Ford knew what they were doing.
It appears that way hahah 😀thanks for watching
Had to do this to my vs a few weeks ago after putting ssl in the rear. It kicked the diff out so much one guard was rubbing and the other side had a gap big enough for your hand to fit up the guard!
Damn there ya go
Is this car known as Vauxhall Omega in the UK
So after a quick search the uk 1986 Vauxhall omega is more like out 1989 vn commodore, the holden commodore VL shares more in common with a Nissan r31 skyline
I not long got a 29 year old vr immaculate condition inside looks brand new with shine Steeles and has a few little scratches on the bottom of the bumper
lucky bloke thats soo cool
@@TURBOTRISTO the cooler part is I'm saving up for a yellow VK and vl just collecting Moss and dust
Love you Tristan !
Hahaha
Dead alligator approved this video

Guru !!! Why does that look like a gm 10 bolt 7.625 diff ?
It’s a borgwarner m78
A B/W 75 series pre VL. 78 series VL turbo and VN on.
gotcha thank you bro
Vn until VT with irs as standard im guessing?
Trying to understand what parts can interchange
Who doing 200kms per hour? I check both sides again on very low speed and the ties up moving at all sideways. First side he moves the square down, second side he moves the paper.
@@theaussienurseflipper.8113 every commodore does 200km at some point in its life
😜👍🇦🇺
Thanks for watching Richo
Did anybody else knows that he was slid the paper and not the car wheel moving?
