1. Macher kochuri ( মাছের কচুরি )
Before I begin, kochuri and kachori are different. Just like luchi and poori are both deep-fried but the way we treat the dough is different? We are a maida loving clan and our kachoris, or kochuri are made with maida. When fried also, it’s crispy but as you bite into it, it becomes soft. Macher kochuri is not one of the popular stuffing from North Kolkata available now in every part of Bengal.
2. Bengali Vegetable chop( ভেজিটেবল চপ)
vegetable chop (also called 'beet chop' or 'veg cutlet') is widely popular in roadside chop stalls or cabins in Kolkata. The main ingredient here is beetroot, which lends the chop its characteristic vibrant maroon colour. A landmine of flavour and texture (from the different vegetables and nuts used), this recipe uses a unique blend of freshly ground spices.Enjoy it hot off the oil, with a simple salad of onions and cucumbers, a dollop of kasundi, and tea.
3. Fish Fry ( ফিশ ফ্রাই)
This Bengali Fish Fry is popular street food from Kolkata, that hardly needs an introduction. Beautifully carved Bhetki (Barramundi or Seabass) fish fillet, marinated in onion, ginger, garlic & chilli juice before dipped in an egg wash & breaded for frying them to perfection.

8. papri chaat (পাপড়ি চাট)
Papri chat or papri chaat is a popular traditional fast food and street food from the Indian subcontinent, in India, Bangladesh, Nepal and parts of Pakistan. Many various additional dishes throughout India are also referred to as papri chat.
9. Kolkata egg rolls (কলকাতা এগ রোল)
A street-food dish originating from Kolkata, West Bengal. Kolkata Egg Rolls with crunchy veggies, green chilies, chat masala, drizzle of ketchup wrapped in a flaky warm paratha coated with egg.
