These two mash stirrers are ideally used with the BrewZilla 35L, 65L and 100L. - Навчання та стиль
I use that mud stirrer to aerate my wort after pitching the yeast.
maybe an automatic stir arm could be added to a future generation of the Brewzilla? Then it could stir slowly for a whole 60mins like a real mash tun.
3:29 " this one does kiiiind of an alright job " .......... Absolutely sh!t'$ to the deck 😂😂
Yeah we try and make different product to meet different budgets but realistically the cheap is just not worth wasting your money on.
Absolutely love it! Will definitely be grabbing one of these for those big boi mashes
Yeah for big mashes they are essential. My old mash paddle will probably never be used ever again.
I was looking around for a paint stirrer in stainless just a month ago and could not find onw, AWSOME addition! Gonna use it aso for making big batches of potato mash
Yes I think for distillation this stirrer would also be good.
Nice... Now we just waiting on the Low Volume CIP video 😁
I shot that video a few days ago. I promise that I will have that one uploaded this week.
Been doing this for years
Awesome! Have you tried using it to create a whirlpool after chilling?
I am sure that would be very effective. With that said I generally dont bother with whirlpool with the BrewZilla. I just let the false bottom screen capture 80% of the chunks and whatever small stuff gets past this screen doesn't seem to have any negative effect on the process. As a result I would not waste your time on whirlpool.
Good idea. Wonder how it would do with a brew bag? Is there any updates on a new rapt ferm chamber?
Yes we have a half sized RAPT fermentation chamber that we are still working on. We keep making small changes to the design so this product keeps getting delayed but hopefully we are finished at the end of the year.
Interesting....but I wonder how this would go in a thick corn mash. Even with HTAA thinning it out, I'm curious to see if it will stir thick mash bills without bogging the drill and burning it out.
Guessing that would more come down to the drill used over the bit?
@@NoMusiciansInMusicAnymore I'm wondering whether a standard drill can stir a thick mash. If not, you end up spending hundreds on a quality drill to risk burning it out from constant heavy load. If this attachment works with a standard drill in a thick mash, it beats using the heavy duty mash paddle all day!
@@TPGMatt yeah absolutely with you, I think the answer either way is "it's fine" but depends on how heavy duty the drill is you're using, that 24 volt beast Kee is using is high end so our results could vary but the question you ask isn't a yes or no answer, it's how thick and which drill.
I would not use the "paint stirrer type" one for thick mash however the other one that has bent wire would be absolutely fine in thick mash. Also the one with the bent rectangular wire cage is much more robust too so you can put a lot of power into it without damaging it. That might not be the case with the other design.
I used a smaller 12v drill too (not show in this video) and this was also fine and powerful enough so I dont think small drill power is an issue either.
When can we expect this to hit the US market aka MoreBeer, Williams Brewing, and Howdy Brewer?
been using a drill attachment that's meant for stirring paint, for years...
Yes a paint stirrer will work ok but the paint is not food grade and they are generally not made from stainless steel. Our model that is the same design as the paint stirrer is only $14.95 and I think most ones at the hardware store are not stainless steel and they charge about the same price.
Are these available in the US?
KegLand has two main distributors in America. www.morebeer.com and www.williamsbrwing.com
It's best to contact these guys directly and they can give you lead times and approximate arrival dates.
Would be nice if we in the USA could buy your products. You dont ship to the USA and no one in the USA carries this or many items you sell. I often regret buying the Brewzilla for this reason.

Looks great for a malt pipe not so good for biab, I can see a tangled mess 😂🍻
Yes I would not advice this for BIAB. For a rigid mash tun they are excellent.
😂 nice 🍻
Thanks!
or just don't dump all your grains in the water at the same time
Yes that is fair point. That does help quite a bit.
