Very cool, I had been trying to come up with ideas for a while to suit a smaller scale brewery and this is a really great design. I always love how you come up with something and then get it made in plastic at a good price and with good quality.
I think a threaded port in stainless steel Integrated/welded in the lid under the lid would be a great innovation where different pieces could be screwed on for the different purposes like cip, recirculation and sparge.
That's fantastic. Great work to all of the amazing people who helped to make this happen!!! I will be buying a Brewzilla 65 with my tax money and this will be a must have inclusion! Great work KegLand
You gotta get these videos out sooner haha already have one on order. My brewing friends call me a kegland spokes person haha 🤣 I drank the coolaid brewzilla fermzilla rapt flavoured
Great looking product, I had always thought of just hooking up a closed pipe to the end of my line and drill a bunch of holes for a crappy CIP, this is way better and I might have to check it out! Sure beats filling the Grainfather/Brewzilla to the top with PBW to clean it. Cheers!
Reaching all the contact surface areas is the minimum requirement for a CIP spray device. The other being the pressure and volumetric flow rate. Depending on the application, gentle sprays can be ineffective against certain scaling or biofilms. Of course the temperature of the CIP cleaning or sanitising fluid is another critical factor. Bacteria have clever techniques that have evolved over hundreds of millions of years (actually billions of years) that enable them to survive changes in their environmental conditions. Forming Biofilms is one, transforming into spores is another. I like the cost effectiveness of this device and its suitability
Yes it's a great addon to a brewery. The BrewZilla with the new dish based is the perfect vessel to heat and recirculate CIP solution so it's a good addon product.
Nice looking little piece of kit, I like that I don't have to cringe and assume "crap" when you guys say plastic! p.s. the wife has been asking about the 4L pet kegs again
They did come in stock but have now sold out again. We have been getting excessive demand for this size so we have been strugging to keep them in stock.
@@KegLand really? Wow, I hadn't even had an email like I usually do when I have something on my wishlist come into stock, at least if it's just supply issues it's only a matter of time, you've made my day!
Haha already beat you guys to the punch and ordered one. Used it today with massive success and will happily do a vid on it for the channel! But if you have any other stuff in the works that you think could do with a bit of a review we would be happy to collab with you guys!
Love the setup with the flexiarm! Is there any reason this flexiarm couldn't be used with wort recirculation? Seems like an easy replacement to the fixed arm.
You would pump into the fermenter and then gravity feed back to the brewery. That is the easiest way so you can set it to re-circulate for about 5 min.
I agree. Just after I finished the video I should have done that. the FermZilla just needs to be a bit higher so the liquid then gravity feeds back to the brewzilla. If you do this make sure you do not set the water temp above 50C or you can melt the tank. Other than that it works really well.
what is the application that you want to use these in. We have a number of new products in the pipeline. We have a Nukatap Mini that is pretty cool with several new shank options so you might want to look at that first.
The flex arm should come with silicone seal. Please make sure these seals are in place. If you are not careful they can fall out of the female nut if nothing is connected.
@@KegLand I managed it and it's really fiddly because the nut always jams, but you can't see that. If you hold the nut and just turn the connector, it's pretty easy.
The previous versions that didn’t get released of the CIP head was going to have a detachable rotating head that could be used as a sparge / recirculating head. Is that still tye case for this one?
Despite a lot of work it ended up being a compromise to have one device that could be used for both applications. As a result we have a separate sparge device that we will release on it's own at a later date.
Did I miss a section about fermenters? I suppose this will only work with the fermzilla, not the allrounders ? They are a very nice product, but I do not think they're easy to clean because you're always afraid to scratch.
@@russellbuttsworth998 Do you really think that they work well enough? I think it's very hard to get them clean with the "allowed" temperatures and chemicals.
It would work on the all rounder but you would be gradually filling the all rounder up as you spray the solution into the all rounder. With the FermZilla conical you can gravity feed from the dump valve back to the brewzilla boiler and thus be continuously be recirculating.

Why don't the spring clamps come with the kit when they are essential? No need to buy more steel now... It's gonna sit where it's supposed to with the recirc arm and tube cut to length
Yes that is a fair point. We will see if we can make that included as of the kit. The various different breweries have different heights of arm required and also depending on if you are using the standard lid or distillation lid the silicone should be cut to a different length. so it's best that the customer cuts the silicone tube themselves.

Kudos for keeping these innovations coming! I'm very happy with my brewzilla gen4 35 and the BLE thermometer is a great addition

Haha. Yes I have been meaning to take this video for a while. Sorry I took a bit long to release this one!
When i was working at New Zealand wineries I used to do the tank cleaning and use one of them we called it a fury .
Tested and approved so useful and work like a charm 👍

excellent idea. looks the same as the low pressure wiggler garden waters.
It uses a similar concept but we had to make different jets to work well with smaller pumps.
Send one to Gash, if he reviews positively I’ll buy one. Thanks

Yes it could but we have another product that will do a better job at sparging.
Any hint when that's going to be available? Been looking for one for a while and was going to ask this question too. Cheers guys 🍺

No reason why ot. I find thwe abilty to direct flow with the silcon tubing better though

What's the max temperature? I just received one and am curious how hot I can run the cleaning solution.
Can handle boiling for short periods. 75C is better
Looks great. Has anybody found a way to implement it on a Grainfather G40?
i love this product
i hate cleaning up after brewday
Yes it's a handy product for sure.
What is the maximum size of tank that can be cleaned?
Depends on pump size and pressure, really
SO any plans to release the pluto gun or pick nick tap in 8mm? or Flow control ball lock in 6mm?

Would this device work upside down? I’ve had an idea about turning my old Gen 3 brewzilla into a corny keg washer
Would also like to know if it works inverted!
This device will not work upside down. For corny kegs you are still better off using the Bucket Blaster.
does this works with the bucket blaster?
No. the bucket blaster doesnt need this
Temperature rating?
Can handle 100C for short periods, 75C is perfect
Can I use this to clean a 7 gal SS Brewtank Unitank?
If the diameter is less than 100cm then it should be fine. Just fit this to the lid.
Cool! Can we use it for sparging? 🤔
