While this can be true, can also completely recover with no lasting effects, source is myself and my uncle, I’ve twisted my spine and herniated multiple discs and my uncle has fractured 3 vertebrae, I’m now training for a marathon and he’s a full time landscaper with his own business, neither with any pain.

I think the issue is the number of layers of foam cubes. Clearly it's designed to handle someone falling where there body gets spread over a large number cubes. It's not a bit of them which you can jump into...
I find it hard to comprehend how someone could walk to the centre of that bit without realising jumping in like that would be idiotic in the extreme
@@shatter382 these things are usually filling pools with soft floor/walls so if they spread there is still something to soften impact...if you just lay them on concrete, it is just wrong...

@@shatter382 normally foam pits are at least 4 feet deep up to 6 to 8 and this was like 1 or less. The more layers of foam the more it handles body weight better. But they just put one layer of foam over tile basically.

It still doesn't matter you oompa loompa, even if she walked on water. Foam pits have regulations, the base they used is literally CONCRETE. Foam pits have a minimum depth to enter service, which I think was 2 meters. Clearly they broke safety protocols, since she was not the only one who got injured that day.
Even if she signed a waiver, it does not mean you get your rights taken away. She can still sue them the f up if they find there was a negligence in the safety beyond a reasonable amount.
