Voiceplay does their own thing, without corporate sponsorship. They can take chances and do what they want, which is why we love them. They have introduced me to so many songs that I had ignored over the years, going back to hear the original makes me appreciate them so much more.
All of this is spectacular. From Layne's Burn It and vocal percussion to Cesar's air guitar and the high vocals of the air guitar. Loved the combination of J None and Cesar's voices in "the sun caught in her raven hair". Eli and Geoff's voices were astounding with both of them showing that power and range. Geoff's last line from the heights to the depths. Stunning, evil, mesmerizing and utterly unforgettable.
VoicePlay dropped a new one today - Whiskey in the Jar.
Geoff said he never liked this song and then Layne made him the lead. He is perfect for the evil Minister Frollo.
I find that so incredibly moving. I think I may have seen the film at some point but I don't remember it really.
Great reaction!! This was just so damned good!! When I watched it the first time, I thought it was Geoff that said "Burn It", but no, that was Layne. And It was cool that Tony got to participate as the guard. Completely Blown away by how epic this cover was!! It has been a long long time since I have seen Hunchback of Notre Dame. And Did you see Cesar briefly playing the air guitar?? lol
